US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Its a one-two punch, the BLM/ANTIFA golem is typically only brought out and supported in election time when Republicans are in power. The Democrats that control those lunatics don't want them making messes while their guys are in charge, they only want the chaos when an R is charge to give them the devil's choice of doing nothing and looking impotent or doing something and being called a tyrant. (Which is gonna bite them in the balls when a true Populist Right Nationalist calls their bluff, activates the Insurrection Act and has them all shot, but that might be a decade from now.) Currently the Democrats are in power and they do not want anything to rock the very tenuous grasp they have on power and stability, and with the ongoing internal power struggles any riots or destruction on the scale of 2020 could easily spark a massive PR explosion. So all the payments that normally fund the busses and food and every other element of the logistics train has been severed, severely crippling any riots passively, and in Democrat controlled areas they have been actively working to suppress them.

The other part of that punch is the Kenosha Kid - aside from Biden's current failure, that little creampuff was a massive splash of cold demotivation. He doesn't look like a big scary fascist ubermensch that could and would crack skulls open. Instead this kid is smol and chubby, even with a rifle he looks like a harmless puppy. Easy prey, the favorite of the crybully types that make up the SJW/BLM/Antifa brigade.
Except that he wasn't easy prey at all. When backed up against a wall he did not bend, he did not beg, he did not kneel. He fought, and killed two, maimed another, and will not apologize. They never expected anyone to fight back, they never contemplated one of them might die, and they never, ever thought it would be a cream puff like Kyle that pulled the trigger.
If a soft faced little cherub like him will fight and kill for no reason other than a sense of naïve civic duty, then it begs the question. What will hardened men with families and children to protect do? How far can they push before the fatal snapback? Or, as a meme or two might put it:

So the BLM/ANTIFA mobs don't have any money, they don't have a supply train, their establishment allies have abandoned them, and their lives are obviously and demonstrably on the line for maiming or death to do what? Secure the rule of a senile old man that they must know, even if they won't admit it to themselves, is absolutely failing at every level of governance. It was all fun and games when there were no consequences, when they had powerful friends, before their blood was spilled and bodies put in the ground. Their morale is shattered from the foundation.
Odd, because I remember they protested under Obama.

Then again, Obama did nothing for his fellow niggers.

What policies/political positions of Tulsi's do you like and support?

No where did i suggest you have to hate people on the left. I don't think you need to. I guarentee if you looked up what her policies were during her 2020 run you would hate them though. Her being anti-corruption not starting more wars doesn't fix her being anti-2nd amendment and more federal overreach. Or maybe it is to you.

Either way, that attitude is why the Republicans have been ineffectual for the lost part. People see one person on the left who agrees with them on some basic point and suddenly we gotta support them.

Idk if it's battered wife syndrome, or Stockholm, or just a desperate need to be liked or seen as a good person. No matter what it is, it's weird.

I feel I partially answered your question already - anti-corruption and anti-war are very big deals to me and greatly outweigh whether someone wants to do a high-tax social democracy vs. say low-tax insurance model, et al. As I also said - she seems reasonable when it comes to dialogue. Not impeaching Trump because he hadn't done anything impeachable, rather than voting for it along party lines. I respect that. But... fair question, I've dug out her policies from 2020 (Politico the first link, I'm afraid) and I'll see how she does:

  • Abolish Capital Punishment. I mean having witnessed both the Chauvin and Rittenhouse trials recently and that story about the guy who did 16 years for rape because the Lovely Bones author couldn't tell the difference between two Black guys, I'm sympathetic to this view point. I don't quite agree with it but that's more because I'd rather be executed than have decades of my life stolen and loved ones suffer through that.
  • Cash Bail Reform - don't know much about it.
  • Eliminate Mandatory Minimum Sentences. I agree with this. Judges used to have discretion and that's taken away from them increasingly by the legislature chasing votes. That Kyle Rittenhouse (topical example) was facing 10+ years in prison due to Mandatory Minimum laws shows the problem with them. They remove human judgement from the legal system.
  • Eliminate Private Prisons. Agree with this also. For Profit prisons lead to lobbying pressure to increase incarceration and forced prison labour competes with low-paid manual jobs keeping people from working their way out of poverty. US has insanely high portion of its population in prison compared to rest of the developed world. (Not counting Australian Covid Camps).
  • Mandate Paper Ballots. Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Yes, I agree with this.
  • Bring back Glass-Steagall. I don't know enough about this. It seems to be something to do with limiting bank mergers. Might not be a bad thing?
  • Set Minimum Wage to $15p/h. I oppose this as both unnecessary and wildly simplistic. Also just on general principles.
  • Paid family and medical leave up to 12 weeks. I mean, from a European view, having to use up your leave because you're sick is pretty distressing. I think this would probably get messy if just dropped straight into US society and I have mixed feelings about it. But anyway, it falls under the category of 'I may disagree but I see your point'.
  • "Study reparations." This seems to be looking into some kind of racial reparations program. Strong disagree with this and the first thing on her platform that I feel strongly averse to.
  • Free college. Not quite certain of the scope of this as different terms in the USA to Europe. If it's talking ages 16-18 college, seems reasonable. If university then it's unworkable without major reform of university admissions and accreditation. Disagree.
  • Expand student debt relief. Disagree but would be open to some consideration of it if in exchange they actually fixed the issues that got us into this mess in the first place (but they wouldn't).
  • Limits on campaign finance. Sure - sounds good to me.
  • Preserve the Electoral College. Hell yeah - Federal Govt. bad! States Rights. Seems she was one of only four Dem candidates who want to preserve the EC (others being Yang, Hickenlooper (who?) and Delaney.
  • Close down existing nuclear power stations. Strong disagree.
  • Ban on "military style assault weapons". Strong disagree.
  • Supports Universal Background checks. Disagree. Mainly because there already are background checks and I see this as a backdoor to bringing in gun control.
  • Few limits on Abortion. Hopelessly vague position but disagree with it anyway.
  • Medicare for All. Good luck with that! US healthcare industry is the world's biggest cartel. Academic but soft disagree. Europe does healthcare cheaper per person than the USA for only slightly worse results and wider coverage. One of those positions where I don't think it would work well but it's not a divisive issue for me.
  • Allow importing of cheaper drugs from abroad and reducing drug patent length. Trump wanted to do the same thing. After the behaviour of Pfizer and Moderna these past couple of years I'm pretty much ready to say 'Fuck It!' and side with her on this.
  • DACA. I mean, if someone's a naturalized citizen from childhood and you haven't thrown them out in thirty years I'm inclined to say you've left it too late. I'd allow some form of DACA in exchange for tighter border and immigration controls going forward. Which was also Trump's position, iirc.
  • Improve Transportation infrastructure and services by redirecting military funding to it. Hell, yeah! See my earlier comments about war.
  • Legalize marijuana. I think it's bad for you but it's not like the govt. has actually a chance of stopping it. It just fuels the For Profit prison industry which I oppose.
  • Scrap Marijuana convictions. I would support this except a lot of those are actually just plea bargains for more serious crimes. Still, in principle and with careful controls in place, maybe.
  • Slash the defence budget. Fine with this. Pentagon is a machine for turning public money into Lockheed et al. exec bonuses.
  • Bring back troops abroad. Not everywhere and not entirely but yes. Again, this was Trump's position too.
  • Eliminate tax breaks for off-shoring. Yes - repatriate industry. Again, Trump wanted similar things, iirc.
  • Rural broadband. Below my level of consideration.
  • Hold Social Media companies responsible for users' posts. She has a less extreme position than Biden but apparently does want some measures in place. Utterly unworkable and I strongly oppose.
  • Break apart some tech companies (Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook). Eh, couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.
  • Support USMCA. Apparently some sort of revised NAFTA. Don't know enough about this.

Wow - that took longer than I expected. My take away is that I feel broadly vindicated. My two biggest priorities are corruption (including electoral fraud) and anti-war and she does seem strong on these. Of the rest of her policies some I agree with. others are below my level of consideration compared to the stuff that is really important to me. And a few things I strongly disagree with her on (nuclear power, gun control and abortion).

I think my view on her remains pretty much unchanged - I disagree with her on several things but she has a lot more in common with me than most of the modern Dems and a sincere person. Certainly she could have got further politically if she was willing to tow the party line more and I happy to see she doesn't. Maybe she can be redpilled on gun control and reconsider nuclear power. I feel like she would at least discuss them honestly.

They're grifting. Now get the damn vaccine @Dude Vaccines

Why are all lefty memes word salad? Brevity makes comedy funnier.
Because the left have painted themselves into a corner. It's why antifags have to use generic terms like "chud". Literally everything is potentially offensive to the myriad of groups created by idpol. And everything has to be some kind of political expression. No matter how ham-fisted the political allegory. It is their duty to utilize their platform to pontificate. The left is also insufferably egotistical. There's simply no way the plebs can conceive of - much less achieve - their heights of intellectual enlightenment, so they have explain everything. All of this combined have turned them into vapid, banal, self-righteous, and humorless assholes.

Than those MAGAs should band together and make their own News organization!
Newsmax fucked over Mike Lindell over a while ago as well.

Well compared to Fox, they look more "authentic", gives you an idea of how far pozzed or decorum optics cucks are Fox News.

OAN has links to AT&T, a major donor to the Democrats and Biden.

It doesn't help that Boebert cucked to Ilhan Omar a while ago as well.

The GOP is still filled with fossils from the Reagan era as many conservatives are now getting involved with government, when previously they ignored them.

@Overly Serious Stopped reading after a point, but campaign finance reform greatly benefits incumbents. I would go limits off on campaign finance. Also on free healthcare I disagree. Obamacare intentionally broke the system to push for this. Deregulate and do something about shortening patent terms on medicine. You can't take them away or companies stop putting money into new medicine, but when the patent runs out, the med cost drops by a huge amount.

Granted with the OAN how link are they to AT@T since they cover stuff that weren't cover by Fox News?

Thanks to all the corporations that cuckservatives and conservatives supported over the years, ask Torba about how difficult it is.

They will cut you off from everything and get away with it because many will not back anti trust laws to break them up.
