Texans were pissed when Abbott had the mask mandate ordered (which abbott did after the media attacked him) and when Abbott said "aight, no more mandate starting next week" most counties dropped masks like a hot rock. My own was like, "what's a week gonna do?" The DNC really doesn't understand that outside of the big cities and a few border towns the state is blood red and the majority want to be left alone.

What shocks me is the Democrats have completely ignored the lowest of low-hanging fruit....legalizing marijuana.

Because ironically enough, federal legalization is something stoners do not even want anymore. Removing marijuana from the federal narcotics schedule would be a mess, as much as it being schedule 1 is retarded. Moving it to schedule 2 so it could be recognized as having medical value would mean pharma companies would pounce. Removing it altogether would mean globohomo corporations take over the industry. Legalization by state is actually the sweet spot. What the feds could and should do is remove federal penalties for marijuana related crimes, expunge any past offenses from records, and call it a day.
