Yeah, but they don't cover "gender affirming" care for women who have low self-esteem and dysphoria because their boobs are too small. They also won't cover breast reduction for women who have back pain and bra straps practically embedded into their shoulders if their breasts don't meet the minimum weight requirement to be deemed too large.Everyone I know who has had a double mastectomy for gender issues or not has had it almost fully covered, at least if they have good employer-funded insurance and use their PTO wisely. They're back to work in two or three weeks and most are working remotely after one week.

I'm not sure how we can square "weight loss surgery is bad -- be happy with your natural beauty" and "omg -- troons will die if they don't get their bodies surgically altered to look completely different". Gender is a social construct, but troons will kill themselves if they don't get to turn themselves into that social construct, lol.
