Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

But on the subject of Hillary. I swear looking at that endosement list really made me realize why even not so big actors like Gina Carano became such a big deal for both right and left leaners in different ways.

That list isn't large because of all the A-listers. It's becuase of all the smaller actors too!! Like theirs actors on there that I would of thought weren't be such a big deal or too much gossip on who they were surpporting, But wikipedia and their links belive so. I knew Hollywood was liberal and that's why conservative actors were considered outcast. But got Damm. I understand why actors like Kevin Sorbo, Dean Cain and Kirk Cameron are considered big for Republicans. Because even having small screen actors being conservative is a miracle. I mean when looking at Hillary endosement list I saw actors who can be considered wash ups (like most of the star trek actors listed on there). But you don't see the media and social media SJWs making fun of them becuase their surpporting the right side. "So their different" somehow even through their just as extremely vocal on their political views as the right leaning ones are.

Like I said it really opens my eyes even more now how leftie Hollywood is. Form top to bottom. And why Hollywood likes to fuck with our culture!!

Crazy stuff there.

Edit: Also shows why they went so fucking nuts after Hillary lost. They went full force getting as many celebs they could to simp for her and how cool she was!!! So once Orange man beat her. No wonder so many celebs form big to small freak the the fuck out and lost their minds
I think people on this site really underestimate how much people are rooting against this specific brand of liberal. It's hard to downplay the joy a lot of Americans (and other countries really) get watching these people fail

Now I don't think the Dems 'control' Hollywood, media, corporate America etc. but it’s more of a mutual relationship that guarantees all of these establishments money and power.

What about all that sweet, sweet third-world labor she threatened to import to replace noncompliant staff a couple months back? Oh, right, the feds just announced another travel ban.

God, I detest this woman. Anything she does and gets away with will embolden Murphy and Lamont in their respective neighboring states to try and pull the same shit. At least Murphy knows he's on thin ice if he tries anything, given how contentious his re-election numbers were.
On one hand, Biden didn't ban travel from very many countries. The Philippines and Nigeria, the two countries Hochul specifically named when she proposed importing hospital staff from abroad, are not included.

On the other hand, it appears that threat was a whole lot of bluster and show. None of that has happened.

Of course it was bluster. These countries also need medical staff to deal with their own coof patients. Or did Hochul think there are throngs of highly qualified Nigerian princes nurses just waiting to board the plane?

Of course she did. There are millions of immigrants, who absolutely abhor their countries of birth or can't stay because they sank beneath the global warming waves, that need to be given safe passage and secure living conditions in the west. They're just begging to come and take the jobs westerners won't do. They're an unlimited resource, fungible between any number of job positions. Sort of like the national guard, but cheaper.

The thing about trying to shove Harris onto the Supreme Court seems especially ludicrous given that they need to have a vacancy, and Breyer has said he's not stepping down. Are they going to try and get Sotomayor or Kagan to take one for the team? Call out a hit on someone?
Leaning into this being pure journoscum fantasy, it of course be via court packing. Something the DNC would have to fight like hell for in the best of situations. They don't have the political capital or the unity to try and push it through, it's wildly unpopular with groups they are already drastically bleeding, and there is a decent chance it will be stopped by the court itself, AFTER spending the capital and upsetting the demographics.

In reality, like Journalism's previously completely fabricated political experimentism, just printing and depositing a trillion dollar bill, it's an absolutely paste chugging idea. Harris resigns to sit on the supreme court, VP is left vacant. They lose the tie breaker in the Senate, and need a Republican defector in the Senate to replace her(possible, but would be costly). Until they do the Senate is deadlocked. Then, if Biden dies, Pelosi is next in succession, and by all indications she wants to GTFO, and would fight that big risk from hanging over her. They also risk Republicans stalling VP replacement until midterms when it seems likely they'll take the House and next in succession. While equally fantasy, not only could that mean we have a Republican President before 2024, but they're is nothing stopping it (legally) from being Trump, and he gets to run again in 2024(having served less than two years). Completely farcical, but less so than this Harris to Supreme Court Justice nonsense.

Holy shit, how did you so perfectly enter the headspace of these people? I'd rate you Winner if I could.

For real though, importing immigrants because nationals refused to comply with outrageous draconian demands is gonna bite them in the ass when inflation is this high, supply chains are thinning and the overall standard of living for everyone making below 70K a year is plummeting, because now you got twice the people in these industries (because you fired half of them) and not enough vacancies for whenever in the far future this pandemic is arbitrarily declared over and healthcare workers who refused the jabbed are miraculously allowed to work again.

Pelsoi would only become president if Biden and Harris both die at the same time. which isn't likely. Stop fucking perpetuating this idea.

If Harris resigns, Biden would nominate a VP and the house and senate would vote to confirm them. Then if Biden dies, The VP becomes president and the process begins again.

Speaking of Hochul, voter support is so bad she and her fellow Dems are currently fortifying New York. Yep.

Hochul’s shocking support for new law that snubs voters and lets Dems gerrymander

(article)
It was always fair to doubt that Kathy Hochul would govern as a centrist, as some once suggested, but her signature last week on a redistricting bill that flouts voters’ wishes and violates New York’s Constitution might come as a shock even to the biggest skeptics.

The legislation would let the Democratic-controlled Legislature draw new state-legislative- and congressional-district lines if the bipartisan Independent Redistricting Commission fails to vote on its own new maps by its Jan. 15 deadline, which is a real possibility. Indeed, the new law itself might well sound the death knell for the panel, which was set up after New York voters overwhelmingly passed a constitutional amendment calling for one in 2014.

Voters reaffirmed their vote for the panel just this month when they shot down — by 10 points — a ballot initiative that would’ve weakened its independence. But Democrats, emboldened by the supermajorities they now enjoy in the Legislature, see an opening to end-run the commission.

Recall that in September the IRC failed to produce a single set of maps, as was required, and instead offered two sets, one from Democratic members and another from Republicans. Now, if the commission doesn’t vote on one set by Jan. 15 and the Legislature takes up the redistricting, as the new law provides, count on the Dems to gerrymander the GOP into an even weaker position than it’s in now.

Consider, too: New York is losing one congressional seat thanks to population loss. Democrats could conceivably trim Republican seats from eight of 27 to just three of 26. Of course, they won’t be happy until they hold every local, state and federal seat in New York — and put in place laws, like the one Hochul just signed, to make sure that never changes.

Never mind that one-party rule has already hurt New York. Democrats who dominate state politics have ignored pushback on key issues like bail reform, leading to more crime, and tax hikes, which sock taxpayers, hurt businesses and jobs and send the wealthy fleeing. But now, ignoring the Constitution — and voters who’ve already twice demanded fair, nonpartisan redistricting — well, that truly sets a new low.
So, just for a recap: New York voters were presented with a ballot measure regarding redistricting in 2014. The proposal was principly to create a bipartisan redistricting committee, but the caveat was that if one party controlled both houses of the legislature (like they do today), and had 66% of the vote, they could overrule the commission and do their own redistricting. Voters approved this ballot measure with 57% voting yes.

Flash forward to earlier this month, on the same day Youngkin took Virginia. Voters were confronted with a ballot measure seeking to amend the 2014 ballot measure so that only a majority vote would be needed. If it passed, the Democrats would be able to render the redistricting committee irrelevant and gerrymander as much as they wanted because they have supermajorities in the legislature. Voters rejected it with 55% against.

Virginia and New Jersey clearly have the New York Dems fucking spooked, though, because they introduced a bill in the legislature to implement the exact changes we voted against earlier this month - and Hochul signed it. Now we're looking at Hochul being able to gerrymander five Republican House districts into being new, Dem districts.
