Collingwood-Smith falls into that category of lolcow who could probably have made a decent life for himself if he wasn't so intent on cos-playing as Professor Moriarty, and bullishly enacting revenge upon others for slights that most people would have shrugged off.
Everything I have read about this man (by others and in his own writing) points to his woes stemming more from a vindictive streak in his personality than from the actions of the people who he regards as enemies.
Attempting to fill the void in your own life by using the law as a blunt instrument, to forcibly expand that void into the lives of others, is not a recipe for happiness. It's a figurative hand grenade that does almost as much harm to yourself long-term as it does to your target. There are few more pitiful sights than a man with an obvious capacity for intelligent action behaving in a manner that harms his own interests. Many such cases unfortunately. If you haven't learned how to get along with people by the time you hit 40, then you are destined for a very lonely and bitter middle-old age.

I think he just wanted to fluff up his blog in the eyes of the mental rejects on kotakuinaction. He could always post the so called lawyers messages if they're true though.
