His reported income on the bankruptcy docs matched (within reason) my estimates. He's not faking the tips. His fans are just that dumb.

Though to be fair, he's shown multiple times to be hiding tips in order to bait other whales to contribute. Which is unsurprising, given that it's Phil.

Is he talking about the cops not caring about fraudulent transactions? Because they don't, unless it's something insane or tax dodging is involved the cops won't bother pursuing wire fraud.

Partly because the bank clamps down on fraud instantly. I had a card compromised once and the bank called to tell me they're reversing the charges and closing the card, and that was before I'd even seen the charges hit my account.

The funny part is even if the card is stolen, any goods ordered online still have their taxes paid so there's little incentive to step in.
That's a big difference between credit and debit cards. There's no fraud protection on a debit card regardless of the Visa/MC logo on it. It's the same as cash. Banks don't have to return any fraudulent spends done with a debit card, that's when the police will at least pretend to try. So he'd be lying there too.

I mean recently, especially post bank-leak.

Phil really is his worst enemy. He could've avoided this whole WWE shit in the first place if he never brought it up, or better yet, not used his fucing internet handle. He just keeps digging this pit lower while calling everyone who so much as stretches out a hand to pull him out a moronic retard and troll.

If he was trying to fake success, then he wouldn't have had the embarrassment that was the tuesday before thanksgiving whe he only got 118 in tips for the whole day. Hell if he were faking tips, then why not fake tips to reach his goal every time.

I highly doubt he is faking his tips. He's far more likely to hide tips to try to coerce more out of his whales, he's been caught doing it before.

Whilst that is true (and I'm not covering for Phil in anyway I'm just explaining from another angle) it's also that he may also be receiving numerous tips off stream directly that we may never know about, and Phil doesn't have any immediate obligation to say whether he received them or not. Yeah with the bank leaks we're able to match up his total income and how much of it comes from the tips a lot easier, but I do think without his PayPal actually getting hacked, we're still missing a few pieces in the puzzle in how much he actually could be "hiding" to feign that he's going to be borderline impoverished unless he doesn't get that tip money.

Well, there it is. The line finally got crossed.
No mores semantics, no more playing dumb, no more avoiding... this is the outright lie.

He faltered - we saw him falter. He planted the seeds of this a little while ago, implying that the 'identity theft' had resulted in something being stolen from him, but he wasn't ready to go all the way yet. Now with Christmas approaching, earnings dipping a little, and taxes looming, he pulled the trigger and finally did it.

So we saw a few things at work here that had previously been considered dubious. This shows that Phil will intentionally plan ahead and work up to his bigger lies. He invests forethought, and he is willing to cross the moral line and commit if he can work himself up to it, and once he reasons that he is a safe enough distance away from the allegation to avoid immediate questions. The big scams are intentional, planned and thought out. They're still dumb and cumbersome because the planner is stupid and divorced from reality, but Phil knows what he is doing and what he is attempting to do. He's not random impulse and desperation - he schemes.
Very egregious guilt-tripping from Nov 30's "podcast" that I missed but Snort Burnell caught.
Worth noting here is that this is Phil running the Twitch Payment Scam again.
He begged for money to cover the cost of the lost revenue on YT.
He then reveals that he didn't actually lose any of the revenue, but he did not see a spike that he would have otherwise seen.
Except he did see a spike in his income because he begged his audience to cover the loss that never occurred.
He does an exceptionally bad job of it here because you can tell by his bemused expression that he believes he's duping the wheelchairs with his hand graphs.

Just like how he showed the judge (in the bankrupcy case)"everything" and he got the bankrupcy....so that means he didn't play it.

Every time he talks about other people it always involves them going "wow you are the victim" and "I agree with you" gee it's almost like you withhold information from them in order for them to agree with you.

Also Phil didn't show the police shit, he is just bluffing like he always does. Thank god he fooled those brainless paypigs though....it's not like they even have the capacity to think for themselves...

I hope that DSP really did call the cops with concrete evidence of thousands upon thousands of dollars of fraudulent credit card charges (he didn't) in a brazen attempt to get the money back that he wasted on champions. Also love the fake cops response, "You know how to go about this, shoot us an e-mail at cyberpolice@hotmail.com and we'll get back to you!

Please don't pressure me with that bills shit, cause everybody got em that ain't children.

Even after watching the full context of that clip he still managed to sound insane. He said that over the past 13 years he went to law enforcement multiple times and everytime they did jack shit for him, so why would he expect them to do anything this time.

Of course he never showed them "concrete evidence" because there would be no way for him to have that evidence.

Also Phil didn't show the police shit, he is just bluffing like he always does. Thank god he fooled those brainless paypigs though....it's not like they even have the capacity to think for themselves...
He didn't even need to do this. His paypigs already either didn't care or had already forgotten all about it after the shower thing and none of his wheelchairs had been bringing it up. It was the perfect opportunity to just sweep the whole thing under the rug, and yet he couldn't let a chance at victimhood go to waste.

I mean recently, especially post bank-leak.
It's definitely possible, but he's had more than a few "slow" nights where he didn't even get to $50. If he was willing to fake tips, why not then, even just to get to $50 and salvage his ego a little?

This is my thinking, tbh. He is absolutely willing to hide tips (see every "overnight" tip that is thanked without a number or name put to it).

So by Burnell logic, he saw tens of thousands of fraudulent charges piling up over years on Apple and PayPal, and just sat there and let them ride? I guess he's lucky he has people like Kagome and Gorilla Pimp and Six70Two in his community who are either too fucking stupid, or just outright don't give a fuck who won't call him out about it. But if they did call him out they would just be instantly LIMB'd and called a fucking moron. Oh well.

While there are many red flags with Phil's lie about someone racking up thousands of dollars on his credit card, one of the biggest to me is Phil talked to someone. I'm not even trying to make a joke or anything. Phil has become such a shut in hermit that it's clear he'll only interact with someone when there is no other choice, and even then, he'll try to avoid any non-email communication. Even in "real" situations, he won't follow through. The great BK sandwich disaster is perfect proof of that. All he had to do is go through the drive thru and request a new sandwich. He was too scared/lazy even for that, but he was willing to email BK and tweet about them to try and get the issue resolved. There's also things like his plumbing or car problems, where he insists he spoke to someone and they said it would cost $1500 or whatever, when in reality it ends up costing significantly less, if he ever even gets it resolved/it ever happened in the first place.

The only time I can think of Phil having to interact with someone is during his bankruptcy, but that's one of those "no other choice" scenarios. But any other time he claims he did, it's always an obvious lie with the same outcome. They ignore Phil's claim, cementing his eternal victim status and insist there is nothing they can do.

Speaking of lies, this is one Phil has already contradicted himself, but might as well throw it onto the growing pile of evidence he's talking out of his ass. Phil used to (and maybe still does?) claim that he'd spend Sunday nights going over all his bills and figuring out payments, implying it took several hours and even complaining a few times about how drained it made him, but he was still willing to stream. He's slipped up and confirmed he uses auto payments for his bills, but this is just another piece of evidence of his lies, since surely even Phil would notice he's paying for a bunch of fraudulent charges.

Kat has his car so she could be spending with his card without him knowing. Unlikely but possible.

I've been working like 14 hours today so forgive me... But is Phil saying someone spent $1000's on his credit cards or has someone done some charge backs against him?
Thousands have been racked up on his credit cards since the leak.
There can be only three possibilities.

1. Phil is the one spending on champions/total wine etc like a greedy pig.

2. Kat is the one doing the spending he just is too dumb to figure out.

or 3 it was superhound or someone else.

Options 2 and 3 would require him not checking his account statements/balance in a year lol
4) he's lying again
What credit cards? Isn't he supposed to not have any credit cards post-bankruptcy or am I misremembering?
Correct. That's what makes this lie so incredible.

This is my thinking, tbh. He is absolutely willing to hide tips (see every "overnight" tip that is thanked without a number or name put to it).
Yeah, and whatever is going on with the OMM tips points to the same thing.
Phil sees the streams as his up-front, bread-and-butter begging, but he is constantly looking for avenues to obscure his income and hide tips. His ideal situation would likely to be have a constantly flow of behind the scenes supporters who don't care what he says on stream, while he begs for $150 each stream as though he desperately needs it to survive.

Phil's rage at people doing the basic math with his $200 tips goal to guess at the annual earnings indicated that Phil is aware it undermines his narratives if people can put specific numbers on things. There are a stable of whales that don't care, but a lot of those smaller paypigs have been driven away, and the leaks and data on his earnings have likely been contributing factors. I think he'd be willing to suffer the embarrassment of some slower streams (and use them for begging afterwards) if it means that he can have some money coming in that detractors and paypigs don't know about.
Oh well.
This is even worse if you put it into the context that he repeatedly said he was just getting by, while thousands of dollars was disappearing from his account on very obvious consistent charges to Apple and DoorDash. It's one thing if you're financially comfortable and you miss a bad charge or two, but the systemic charges over months when you were struggling?

On top of that, this also still does not account for all the charges at Total Wine. So someone stole his bank information and proceeded to buy a fortune on booze... at a store down the road from his house? That's so audacious for a thief that it must be one of the Kiwis living under his bed that posted in that thread Phil reported to the Renton PD.
What credit cards? Isn't he supposed to not have any credit cards post-bankruptcy or am I misremembering?
Arguably one of the biggest issues with this story is the casual assertion that it was connected to a credit card. The same 'identity theft' bank leaks indicated that he didn't have a credit card, but somehow the charges were to a credit card. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the plausible deniability angle where Phil can later semantic out of this and say it was at a time in his life when he did have credit cards and we were confused. But more likely just he realized that people were going to have a hard time believing someone gained direct access to his bank account unnoticed and went with the easier lie.
