Ah, its because of his famous speech at a concert. To be clear, its not exactly proven it was Eric who said, or someone else at the same gig he was at. Some sources have claimed it was a few other different people. Anyway, this is what he is meant to have said.

"I used to be into dope, now I'm into racism. It's much heavier, man. Fucking wogs, man. Fucking Saudis taking over London. Bastard wogs. Britain is becoming overcrowded and Enoch will stop it and send them all back. The black wogs and coons and Arabs and fucking Jamaicans and fucking [indecipherable] don't belong here, we don't want them here. This is England, this is a white country, we don't want any black wogs and coons living here. We need to make clear to them they are not welcome. England is for white people, man. We are a white country. I don't want fucking wogs living next to me with their standards. This is Great Britain, a white country, what is happening to us, for fuck's sake? We need to vote for Enoch Powell, he's a great man, speaking truth. Vote for Enoch, he's our man, he's on our side, he'll look after us. I want all of you here to vote for Enoch, support him, he's on our side. Enoch for Prime Minister! Throw the wogs out! Keep Britain white!"

So thats why he gets tagged with racism a fair few times.

A black woman uses the idea of neighbourhood libraries to spread a sense of community. Is she unwittingly hastening the gentrification of her neighbourhood? (NYT paywall, archive here) A choice excerpt:
Then one morning, glancing out my front window, I saw a young white couple stopped at the library. Instantly, I was flooded with emotions — astonishment, and then resentment, and then astonishment at my resentment. It all converged into a silent scream in my head of, Get off my lawn!

The moment jolted me into realizing some things I’m not especially proud of. I had set out this library for all who lived here, and even for those who didn’t, in theory. I would not want to restrict anyone from looking at it or taking books, based on race or anything else. But while I had seen white newcomers to the neighborhood here and there, the truth was, I hadn’t set it out to appeal to white residents.

Now that they were in front of my house, curious about this new neighborhood attraction, I didn’t know how to feel. By bringing this modern cultural artifact here from white neighborhoods, had I set myself up, set up the neighborhood? Was I contributing to gentrification and sending the wrong message about how I wanted the neighborhood to be?
What I resented was not this specific couple. It was their whiteness, and my feelings of helplessness at not knowing how to maintain the integrity of a Black space that I had created. I was seeing up close how fragile that space can be, how its meaning can be changed in my mind, even by people who have no conscious intention to change it. That library was on my lawn, but for that moment it became theirs. I built it and drove it into the ground because I love books and always have. But I suddenly felt that I could not own even this, something that was clearly and intimately mine.
She's kind of self-aware, but the dissonance between providing a venue to be "for [her] neighbors to stay connected during the pandemic" and "except the white people" is astounding.

If you reversed the races of this article, the reactions would be hilarious.

And the obvious question:

All black people know this on some level, but being raised by whites and having to live with it at home will cause them to have a few screws loose as they become adults. You're better off letting them rot in an orphanage until they're old enough to go to prison.
I don't like posting photos of kids, so please either just trust me on the screenshots below, or go to https://www.adoptuskids.org/meet-the-children/search-for-children/search to confirm the below:

You can bring a nigger to a bunch of books but you can make it read. More likely it will either burn all the books or hock them for a cheap beer.

And before you accuse me of dehumanization, the author set up the bookshelf under the same mentality of someone setting up a bird table: to watch some pretty creatures outside her window.

I can't wait for the accusations of racism, sexism, and whatever-the-fuck-else, leveled at that, just like it's being leveled at the "Dickens Christmas Fair" -

I'll bet there was no racism and sexism, there was a bunch of over-sensitive pieces of shit that turned on each other.

"Orcs are Niggers, Elves are Jews."

Everyone knows that dwarves were Jews.
Harry Potter and the Nefarious Big-Nosed Goblins was the other option.
It's kinda sad watching comedians slowly forgetting what jokes are. She made a ton of Holocaust jokes early in her career, her reaction here just seems dishonest.
Don't forget the blackface.

I'm pretty sure that under-privileged or poor kids learn really quickly that Santa isn't real. Good parents, even poor ones, should be able to explain things in a way that doesn't crush their souls.

Also, besides the original religious meaning, the whole point of Santa is the concept of giving without expecting thanks. Parents buy stuff for their kids without thank yous from them for years. When they finally realize the truth, it dawns on them that their parents, despite whatever shit they were dealing with, were actually the ones who got them all that great stuff and memories.

No one should be apologizing on behalf of shitty, fucked-up parents who care more about booze, drugs and other selfish things over their own family. Even my parents, when barely scraping by, planned things out and put a few bucks aside every month to save up for Christmas. We didn't always get what we wanted, but we always got something nice.

...unless that person is saying that bad kids = poor kids = crime and bad behavior isn't their fault? That's bullshit.
