When I saw that rrat on /jp/, I immediately thought it was stupid and it was just someone off their meds trying to start shit with those Aloe fags.

I disagree with Kiara should have Aloe's role. At the time, I always thought Kiara's lusting over her Calli or the other gen mates was too forced. But for Aloe, it made sense since she does like certain succubus designs, and how on rare occasions she either is horny or lusting at something and reminder at the video clip of her past Twitter account showing her horny posting.

What is there to fix IRyS's avatar? She's doing just fine on streams and honestly, her avatar is fine as it is no need to change or "fix" it.

I don't think Ive ever seen a non-pornstar account thirst post that much. Then again she is autistic which can mean an overactive sex drive for whatever reason. (Im autistic myself and I don't quite get it but it is a correlation).

Certain vtubers tend to have massive biases one way or the other on here, and I really don’t get it. They seem to hate on or despise certain girls while constantly praising others no matter what. Ayame and Kiara tend to get a lot of hate or ridicule, while Pippa is essentially seems like the thread mascot at times. Best you can do is correct any misinformation being spread before it gets too out of hand.

EDIT: oh, and a lot of people hate VShojo for one reason or another.

I find it really funny how much this thread's opinion has seemingly changed on Zax, while /pcg/ is probably still seething that a dirty penis-haver is living with Pippa.

In the beginning Zax got many negative comments here, but these almost never happen now, and for a reason - he's someone you can talk to, he provided some Yuni clips and seems to be a pretty chill dude. Personally, I don't recall writing any negative comments about him (could have happened though) and I find the bus renovation progress quite impressive, good luck to him.

I think there are thousands of talented entertainers/streamers/vtubers, as well as musicans, comedians, writers etc. who will never be discovered by larger audience, but are as good or maybe even better than top names in the business. That's the sad reality of things.

I think it's good to be introspective and look for ways to improve yourself, but it's also important to treasure what you have.

While I apply this to language learning, I think this is also valid for many other skills: looking back and cold showers. Feeling down and unmotivated? Remember your beginnings and look how much you have learned. Feeling too good with your skill and also stagnant? Look at masters, try reading harder texts, try discussing more complicated topics with native speakers. Get kicked in the teeth to get your motivation back.

On a side note, I find myself reading the threads to keep up more than actually watching the streams

Same here. I really should listen to more streams (if only for listening practice), but I get distracted by other stuff way too often. I should be able to watch more during my annual leave though.

The real problem is that most people on the internet have the objectively inferior cynical and jaded world view (I say objectively because who really wants to be miserable and stressed all the time). So if it even remotely feels like the mildest of stretches for something to be as it is, its automatically some sort of scheme to scam and deceive others.

Kiara is a good example. Literally everything about her is a nothingburger, and there have been countless discussions here that point out how clippers over-exaggerate her whining and insecurities when its just another broken girl in the hololive family expressing her fears.

Ayame is easily explained as "She's japanese living in Japan." A huge part of their culture is trying not to bother or burden people, and if you're particularly mentally weak, that translates to not telling anyone anything save for close friends. Hell, I know people who are like that. Doesn't have to be some scheme. Im convinced half of you are just paranoid about being duped, which wouldn't be a stretch given how most react to tranny vtubers.

Edit: Ayame isn't the only holomem to take unannounced breaks and hiatus anyway. Haachama has taken months long breaks for the same reasons and I don't see anyone pointing their fingers at her.

Seeing that compilation makes me regret not being able to engage more with NijiEN. I tried to stick to Pomu and Selen but I couldn't follow through with it, As we've said recently, too many good options to keep up. And given how they are on a completely different "ecosystem" from what I'm accustomed I dropped them pretty easily.

I think its not about fixing it and more about if she had a more anime-like design she would probably be doing better as far as numbers go. How many Vtubers have you checked out with an ugly avatar? How many Vtubers with great models have you checked out only to realize that they are pretty bland and never check them again?

Why would Ayame ever retire? (Not that I want her to) She's sitting on a golden goose. As far as I know Cover doesn't complain about her streaming schedule, I don't see why they would considering it barely costs them anything to have her on the payroll. And the little it does more than gets made up for by the 1 time she streams each month, her members, occasional merch.

The only reason I could see is if she genuinely hates her fans enough to leave that all behind. Which I guess I can see where she's coming from.

I think people saying she would retire are dumb especially when she can be MIA for a month and suddenly drop in, talk to her whales and get 25k in donations. If I could make around 7k (if we take out Youtube and Cover's cut) for 2 hours of work a month why would you leave that? She makes more in 2 hours than I make working 9-5 for 2 months.
