Mae mentioned Nader swigging something from a prescription bottle after their "encounter" which prompted methadone speculation as well. Mae is an absolute nutjob but it helped to add fuel to the fire.

Also the thought of Nader being on Methadone was mused about here first, when Mae accused Nada of drinking something out of a pill bottle. Also, not sure how it is in Canada, but in the US, Methadone clinics are a thing you have to go to every morning at first, until you show that you are trustworthy to have "take homes." Which can be every week, every 2, or every month. So if she takes him, look for a pattern like this. It's an early morning thing , too.
