The Slaton Sisters / Amy Slaton & Tammy Slaton - The 1000 Pound Sisters

White women are often more naive, in the sense that they still dream about a nuclear family in a suburban area and are ready to fall for even the slightest mockery of it.
You should've seen when they considered the possibility of women being conscripted into the army where a bunch of white feminists immediately went "oh no, 100+ years of feminism wasn't worth it!"

When Tam-Tam is in the doctor's office in the most recent episode she's wearing a dress from eShakti as a top... and they go up to 100 inches around (and would probably go higher if asked).

(Edit: My bad, it's an old favorite of hers. I guess well done to eShakti for cornering the custom infinifat market?)

Also I'm oddly impressed that Gage has already been diagnosed with GER - it's usually resolved in infants by the time they've reached 18 months but it can cause failure to thrive issues at first, which are probably common in Kenfucky.

"I'm fuckin' grown; you ain't my mother."

Okay Tammy. You take care of your adult-ass bullshit then so Amy doesn't ever have to fill your meds, take you to the doctor, bring you food, or live within smelling distance of you ever again.

Finally, the Slatons ain't paying Tisa enough for Tammy's bullshit.

Edit: Amy is killing me in the YT wig video... #TeamAmy

Edit 2: Amy sobbing about YT bullies and haters while TLC focuses on the cockroach climbing up the wall behind her is pretty fuckin shady. I know it's all scripted and forced but that's just rude. I hope they got a good payout in return for what little self respect they had left...

:optimistic:

R.I.P. Marky Mouse. The best scene (aside from the repeat peek at Chris's coconut sized boil) was when Amy was crying about her house being a mess while a big ass cockroach saunters up the wall behind her. At first, I thought the TV crew had edited him in, but I ran it back and it was a natural cameo appearance.

Michael is as dumb as a stick and in the scene of baby gage in the wading pool, there was evidence that the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Tammy repeats his name in baby talk several time and the kid stares blankly into space as if to say "huh? wha?" for a couple of seconds. Then he randomly looks up and sees Tam Tam's ponderous bulk looming over him and he starts laughing at her. Some reactions don't even require cognition.

I don't know why the show keeps trying to fix these people. They are part of an indigenous culture that should be preserved and studied, not corrected. Tam Tam is just getting back to her roots.

Tammy OK.

i'm sorry but seeing Amy crying about people talking about the bugs in her videos just made me laugh. I just thought it was pathetic, especially since it is her fault being lazy and not cleaning her home.
They get paid by TLC, right? Housekeeping help can be had for $20 or less per hour. It’s not like there’s no solution to this.

I think that Amy just couldn't bear to leave Kenny at the old house. 🤗

I mean, that’s really on Amy. Most people are smart enough to not post a video where they look unflattering, but well…Slaton genes. Not to mention this was probably the best they could manage and cockroaches were the least of the gross things that could have ended up on YouTube.

They spend money on dumb shit, why not splurge on a maid service until they get shit right. Normally I wouldn't judge other people's habits but when you have a baby in the house, you have to keep on top of those things. You can't have bugs crawling around, trash overflowing everywhere, etc.

Right. Her and Tammy are both gross as fuck, ASIDE from their weight, their personalities are disgusting. They make crude disgusting remarks constantly. She should be crying over the fact she smokes cigarettes around her child.
I like Chris, though he should;d really cut down on the smoking(I hope he did0. his voice sounds as rough as the twins from the Simpsons yet he is pony in his early 40s.

*only in his early 40s.

Did anyone else catch the part where they had a dead mouse just chilling inside one of their kitchen cabinets? How the fuck does that even happen? We have mice in my house occasionally, but for there to be a dead one in a cabinet and them just now find it.. what the fuck man

I was blown away by her husband saying, In reference to the vermin, that everyone has them. Maybe in his world.
Haven’t seen the episode but I’ll say that having field mice in the country is pretty common, especially in basements. In more damp states, esp down south, neighborhoods can get easily infested with rats (shudder) because of one shitty neighbor who leaves boxes, wet leaves, etc. piling up. But if he truly thinks everyone’s houses are so dirty that they attract rodents, yeah, that tracks with the IQ range I put him in.
