Setting aside the dishonesty here that Nick's feelings towards women comes in any capacity from scripture, as someone who has actually done exegesis in an academic context there is a oft repeated "rule of thumb" to the effect of "never read a single verse of scripture". You see this constantly with the particular verses he quotes from ephesians, probably one of the most frequently misquoted and taken-out-of-context passages in the entire scripture: (from the KJV)

Appropriately, considering the recent Groyper comments lately, him kind of going after Watson is on brand since the guy who assaulted her is a Muslim. It didn't even occur to me that he probably knew what he was doing when he started talking about how Afghanistan has good ideas on women when he was talking the Schaffer/Watson.

There's actually a very famous (in the online political autism circles) clip of some talk Watson was a part of where Vaush reacted to her story on one of his streams. He of course was all in the "Believe all women" side, and then when she talked about the man who assaulted her (and his background) he immediately did a 180 into "Oh come on, this is bullshit!" I'm sure it's somewhere in his thread; it's a few years old.
