Brave cut me off from the hundreds of BAT I had and won't do jack shit about it. I saved my 'recovery phrase' (that long string of random words), but the closest thing I can get to an answer as to why it won't work is an automated demand for all of my personal information in order to make some crypto account that I don't want or need.

I'm still using Brave, but I have no access to the advertising and BAT features that I had gotten involved in solely to give to you and your forum. It's also seemingly broken for me now, not showing me my browsing history or much of anything related to it. Brave is currently my salt fort.

Question for those more knowledgeable, I looked at setting up rewards, but you have to send a whole bunch of personal info to this wallet company, this was probably 1.5 years ago, has it gotten any better, or does this rando company still want photocopies of my IDs and shit? I'm not sending my drivers license to mine fake money. No longer the case, they have a native wallet.

I really like Brave. Okay with my favorite Chrome extensions, works a treat including on my phone and crippled Linux machine. I haven't yet connected my wallets, but this is my main shitposting computer. With ads turned up to max, I get just under a BAT per month on this one. I was going to cash out at some point, but it sounds like the process is intrusive, so screw it. I'll dribble it to you monthly until it runs out.

I actually found some of the ads interesting at first. These days, it's all about NFTs and obscure crypto. I think. I honestly can't understand what they're talking about any more.

I switched off to Brave a month ago, and I can't stop recommending it to all my peers. Like there is a zero reason to sit with Chrome or Mozilla and pay for faggotish YT Premium, with Brave I have ZERO ads in YT. Even if you don't want to get BAT (and giving it to Null lol), just install that fucking piece of software.

theoretically you could set up a paid membership system where people have to pay using bitcoin or monero and you process all the payments manually by yourself. that'd be a lot of work though and probably not many people would be willing to do this because generally only tech autists are willing to use crypto, not the normies who make up most of the userbase

Since I never browse KF on my phone I'll just get the desktop version instead.

I believe if you specify a monthly contribution on the triangle thing for the site it will try to fulfill that before auto-contributing elsewhere.

Alright I've done that, and I'll de-select 'Include in Auto-Contribute' for any other site I visit on Brave (didn't realise it let me import all my Firefox bookmarks so I might just start using it as my default).

I've got ads set to show on the mobile app too now anyway, so if I can tip any BAT I get on there to the Farms without visiting it I'll do that to. Merry Christmas, Null.
