A lot of WWII propaganda was in similar styles across countries, even ones on opposite sides. I wonder what the name for this style was?

I don't think it counts as socialist realism, but it's the only style name I think sort of fits. Does anyone have a better name for it?

It's often called heroic realism, which is a term wider than socialist realism and includes Nazi art.
Some of the more artistic Italian posters have elements of futurism.
