Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Maybe it's because Biden is making the US look weak as a country. Trump was a crazy motherfucker, but that was both his biggest weakness AND his biggest strength. If the Taliban did what they did under Trump's watch, Trump would have doubled the troops on the ground just on general principle.

Hell, imagine if Macron did this to Trump; there would be a US flag hanging from the Eiffel Tower within a week.

There's actually something similar that happened with Trump at a big summit meeting. Merkel was being her bitchy self and slammed her hands down at the table Trump was sitting at, and he's just got his arms crossed, defiant, and Shinzo Abe is rolling his eyes at Macron in the background. "Those damn Germans, amirite?"

Amen! Kari is going to make a great governor. Brnovich talks a lot of smack, but I don't think Arizonans like him all that much. Ducey, lame-o duck gov that he is, haven't seen or heard a peep from him lately about anything.

And yes, I put my money where my mouth is and have donated to Kari's campaign and will continue to do so.

They've cultivated this for a long time. There was escalation after escalation and police, under the mayor, have always protected the violent black bloc people, going back for at least a decade that I've seen.

Like I said, Obama did the same thing. TBF to the both of them, Crimea and Ukraine are not NATO nations so it was never their business to begin with, but it does prove they aren't as powerful as people think.

Late on this, but Twitter is the empty calories of the fandom world. They talk a lot about your show but:
  1. They generally either don't have the funds to purchase merch or won't buy it for other reasons.
  2. They either watch clips on youtube/another site, or stream it internally with friends, vastly reducing the apparent watchtime
  3. They're easy to piss off, and lose very quickly, for arbitrary to borderline random reasons. Even if you don't piss them off, they're liable to spiral into internal fanworks discussion or other things, which further reduces the value from them to the original creator.
This means they create a disproportionate amount of buzz for how much profit they actually make for the team. It's a nice thing to have and keep in people's minds, but it does not sustain a show on it's own.

With all this talk about Biden's approval, I'm remembering something Gehenna said back around the Afghanistan debacle: there is a correlation between Biden's approval dropping and belief in election fraud growing. And now I've seen it happen in real life. I've seen a few people turn on him and declare there's no way he's legitimate. People really hate those high prices.
