"... this level of recognition"?
But I thought that the Game Awards were meaningless and didn't matter, nobody cared, and Phil
definitely didn't care.
Now, apparently there is recognition involved, and it's something to be 'worthy' of, implying that there's some sort of criteria that gives the award gravitas.
He's also clearly following an event that he said just a week ago was a joke and that he wouldn't follow. His fixation on being a hypocrite is somehow ramping up as time goes on.
This game winning was the funniest thing that could happen with the awards. Phil can't fellate himself because one of his picks won, showing that he's in touch with the industry. Death Loop didn't win so he couldn't publicly denounce the game awards and fellate himself for being such a free thinking man of the people. This game won and he can't say anything. Because he couldn't play the 'game of the year' because he is a lonely loser, and has to swerve the fact that this man of the people had to avoid quality games because he does not live like the people he is the man of.
This type of embarrassment and doublethink is going to require a little extra gin and gacha to suppress. All that extra tip money is dying a fast death as I type.
EDIT:
Confirmed, as
@King of Hateful Slurs pointed out, we're currently gin-tweeting Twitch like a scorned ex.
Is Kat next to him lusting after Geralt, or did she take the Playstation back to her office for that?
