I don't, the twins' emotions are real but they look like they're on the verge of a hernia trying to force themselves to say family-friendly happy things for the camera. They're trying to force help onto him while pointedly ignoring the nature of his problem, it's like a circus practicing for Olympian mental gymnastics, and they get to look like supportive all-loving heroes while they do it.

Jazz isn't going to believe in himself (and self-belief won't heal him) 'when she realises [we] believe in her'; holding more mixers to force him to be more social is only going to burn him out faster. When I watched that part I thought his brothers should've backed off if it weren't for the show. They shouldn't make him play the part of socialite again when that's clearly not his talent - but is that really how they thought they could help him? Who of us ITT would push a friend to throw party if we knew that friend habitually sat in their room to binge eat and was so openly embarrassed about their weight that they said they didn't want to feel ugly next to normal sized people? The things the twins say in this episode are almost worse than empty platitudes because they're giving advice that actually works and saying all the right words glowing with warmth but it all rings so hollow as if it's for the wrong person.

No, I see where you were going with it. It's not just that Jazz has no friends, it's that the very ideology itself tends to be adopted by kids who have issues making friends, and then exacerbates those problems exponentially.

Jazz doesn't have any friends for multiple reasons.

1. Jazz has nothing to talk about beyond kid shit. He's stunted, spoiled, and incredibly self-centered. He can't relate to anything male but he lacks an understanding of women as well. He's whiny, awkward, and often thinks he's naturally entitled to people's unconditional support. If you were going through rough emotional shit, he wouldn't know how to comfort you. Not unless the cameras are rolling.

2. Jeanette + the family are everywhere he goes. You would never escape them, between Jeanette's narc parenting and Sander's social media addiction. You would be forced to attend girly glam alphabet events and always feel like the odd one out.

3. Jazz is unhealthy and has a natural uncanny aura. People can tell by instinct that there is something wrong with him just by appearance. He wears the same outfits, wallows in garbage, hoards, and his hair constantly looks stringy. The amhole cannot smell good and Jazz doesn't even wear a bra. He's on a million pills and is almost three hundred pounds. Pity does not yield healthy relationships.

Regarding point number 1 - it goes beyond Jazz being a eunuch.

As far as I know, her family has money, and so Jazz doesn't need to work to support herself. People that age find common ground playing sports together, or working a shitty job, or connecting through living situations (maybe you dislike your roommate but hit it off with one of their friends). I disagree. The twins and Ari aren't guilty, they've grown up "groomed" into trans bs. They are adults now but also is Jazz, so it really doesn't matter.
