Also on the topic of the whole unarchived Karaoke streams. I know it would get tiresome after a while, but I would honestly love more Hololive centric Karaoke streams like the one Suisei did a while back. It's always interesting hearing certain members' interpretations of others' songs. And we really haven't gotten a lot of EN members singing JP members' songs outside of a single Hololive centric one Gura did a long time ago.

Watame singing Aqua's Aquairo Palette just now made me think about it.

For ENs (and IDs) singing the JP members' songs, the most recent I can recall is Calli and IRyS singing Ahoy and Ghost in their collab. I'd like to see full streams now and then too, as well as more JPs singing the EN and ID songs. Korone even sang the HoloID medley some time back.

I'm not going to lie, this meme-review is making me like the Tier Lists. Also, Bae getting legitimately flustered over the possibility of Roberu being in chat is very endearing. - If you didn't know the reason she puts "Hatotauras" in the bottom right all the time, its because Fubuki made it in a drawing stream with Mio, the theme was "Animals" LONG ago. The OG drawing is on the right and the version we know today is in the middle which Mio artist made for her. And because this was "Old" Hololive, they were abit more spontaneous back in the day and then they very quickly made a Live2D version of the main version for the complete meme and to this day it is Mio bodyguard on all her streams.

In addition: The origin was a kindergarten-themed collab with Ui, Sister Claire and Mio as kindergartner in early 2019. Among other things they held an illustration competetion between the kids and Fubuki created this chimera. Her papa eventually made the live2d stand.

Also on an unrelated note. It's so nice of Mio to come up with so many creative projects. Plus, she is an amazing singer, beautiful voice.

Summary Things
- Fubuki & Mio go all the way back to being classmates back in school days. When Fubuki joined hololive, Mio thought that looked rather fun so she wanted to join in as well. Nice
- She started the Ukelele is to help with her singing apparently. She picked that over other instruments because she has weak hands and someone recommended it to her to try. Very nice
- Of course Kiara asked about the "no panstu at night thing". If you didn't know Mio got told by her grandmother that she shouldn't wear no pantsu when sleeping because it a good thing medically. Of course there no reason proof of this but she just goes with it.

Knew each other since school time and Mio joined Holo because of that. That's so wonderful and wholesome. Ukele nice, and what a weird thing for her grandmother to say, lol

As someone who follows Kanatan's streams closely and understands Japanese, let me do away with a common misconception in the community (I know reddit is usually better than this, but if I convince even one person with this, I'm glad). Especially among people who only watch clips, there is a widespread belief that Kanata is on very bad terms with her mother.

Kanata does not hate Sayuri. Their relationship, while not perfect, is not terrible.

She calls her "Sayuri" rather than "mom" because of her resemblance to the Japanese actress Sayuri Yoshinaga, and to avoid confusing her with Oshio-mama, her character designer. Kanatan often mentions her during her streams when talking about various childhood stories. Viewers should understand that they are not giving Kanata support by hating on Sayuri, all they are doing is bad-mouthing her mother. A strict mother in a poor household without a father is not necessarily an unloving parent.

There is a big difference in opinions about Kanata's mother between Japanese and foreign viewers. While it's perfectly reasonable to think Sayuri is not the best mother, most seldom are. I would like it to be more well-known that not all of Kanata's stories involving Sayuri are bad but for some reason it seems only the bad ones get clipped. Those clips (mostly Iroha Translation's) are overly and deliberately anxiety-provoking, while leaving out context. Biased watchers then twist any quirky story involving Sayuri to fit their negative preconceptions.

As for Sayuri disliking Kanata's voice, yeah, that episode is quite bad. However, the clip people commonly refer to (768K views, and the "I hate your voice. Don't speak!" in the thumbnail isn't said anywhere in the clip or stream) critically translates a part explicitely as "my real voice" rather than "a voice like this" when Kanatan is doing a high cutesy hamster voice.
Yes, Kanatan's cute/playful voice is on the higher side, hence her indignation at Sayuri's remark. But her (presumably) normal speaking voice she rarely slips into on stream is lower than that, see an example here (at 40m 10s).

Kanatan being my favorite, it makes me sad to see mindless Sayuri bashing and misinformation being spread where Kanatan might even see it. Anyways, it's fine to dislike Sayuri for some things she did, and Kanatan knows how to keep her at arm's length, but please help correcting these wrong impressions when you encounter them.
