US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Biden just called Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to "express his condolences" for last night's tornado outbreak. No word yet on what sort of relief the federal government is going to provide to Kentucky and other states, but they're going to need to provide a lot of it. Here's Dawson Springs, KY. Just one of many towns ravaged by the tornadoes.

That straight-up looks like a shot from The Road. The Man Upstairs must be really pissed-off at us right now, and honestly, I don't fuckin' blame Him. Thoughts and prayers to the citizens, though. Watch Poopypants Brandon's admin fuck this up worse than Katrina, and the media to cover for them, as always.

So what does the group think how Dementia Joe will respond to the tornado outbreak? I am sure he doesn't know yet because they won't kick his ass out of bed for anything short of a nuclear attack. This is the sort of shit leaders get woken up for. *Edit just had a thought Biden will be scheduled to be at the Army-Navy Game in Philidelphia tomorrow afternoon, will he cancel or will he still go instead of going and inspecting the damage in Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois?
Probably... Wait, he went to some disaster area in New Jersey right? Be real shitty to go to one disaster area and not another that is actually several times worse and hit working class people.

So no I assume Biden will avoid those areas like they were Chernobyl.
I think we need to declare Trump a Pharaoh because this curse stuff is clearly God tier.
Build Back Better is going to be voted on after the Holidays right? Same with the Supreme court decisions on Roe vs Wade and whatnot?
Yes. Build Back Better will be after the holidays.

Supreme court is going to be six months or so.

Also weren't we of the opinion "Build Back Better" was dead because of Afghanistan or has something changed since then?

It wasn't that it was dead, so much as it was bogged down in legislative hell. It still is, in fact. Congressional Budget Office came out a couple days ago and said BBB would actually add $3 trillion to the deficit (despite being supposedly slimmed down) if made permanent. There's nothing more permanent than a temporary action by the government, which I'm sure Manchin knows, and he's already voicing displeasure and concern with the bill again.

A deeper dive into the data behind the "media treating Biden worse than Trump" story, showing how broken or rigged this whole "sentiment analysis" bs is. The same articles are being rated differently, both positive and negative.

I hate that guy's faggoty, lisping voice too much to listen to him.

I think Kamala would make a better president than biden. I know it's not a high bar to raise, but I think she would be the sensible adult that was meant to replace Trump. Yeah she's shit with people and lacks charisma, but I could see her putting her head down internally, visiting a few allies, a few laughs and smiles and done. A middle-of-the-road president with nothing to shout about, good or bad.
As I have said before: We are talking about a woman whose office, under her name, advanced such legal arguments as "the prosecution forging evidence isn't enough to overturn a conviction" and "the state can keep inmates in jail after their sentences have run because we need their labor to make money." She is not someone who should be allowed even a scintilla of power.

Conservatism is over. There's nothing left to conserve, which is why Republicans really can't figure out what thing they're going to campaign on not changing. The political right in America is evolving into a mix of restorationism and pragmatic negotiation of constituent needs. The old guard may not like that the working class is joining the party, but they've been abandoned by the Democrats, and the GOP can't win without them.
Time for the Restoration Party

I wonder what's still available to provide those states. Funding was a constant concern in Louisiana after Ida, and things were getting stretched very thin around the time I left. We'll just have to wait and see, but from where I'm sitting, the Federal government's going to have to dig pretty deep for this one.

But Strawberry Shortcockgobbler says Brandon and heels-up don't have the "resources" to visit the Waukesha victims of anti white nigger hate. They probably don't have the resources for a bunch of dum dum dummy flyover redneck Trump supporters in flyover country either.

As long as they keep kicking the can down the road, good by me.

Pretty much what I was thinking. He can't be shown supporting those dastardly white supremacists. And they would probably make federal aid contingent on vaccine status.

I'm curious what happens if Biden ends up being such a shitshow continuing on. Conservatism ends up being the truley Rebellion culture.
Not just the rebellion party but the reality party. The only one that affirms men and women aren't physically identical (at least the base does, not those 20 idiots in the House).

The Dems are going to learn that shifting the Overton Window means they eventually get defenestrated out of it.

The Man Upstairs stopped giving a fuck about the USA a long time ago. He just sists back and laughs at the USA now like the rest of the worls does.

But Kamala has absolutely zero credentials, no one wants to touch her past ones because even Democrats find her actions in California repulsive (locking up single parents for breaking truancy laws, lobbying against the life sentence being lifted for minors, etc) and she has one of the most unlikeable personalities I've ever seen in international politics. The fact that she made it to VP purely as a diversity hire and nothing else is hilarious.

Not sure if posted yet, but rumors that the way inflation is being calculated is going to be changed, possibly excluding things like home prices:

Pretty much this, Conservatism conserves nothing if others are allowed to continually take slices off the edges.

As I mentioned before, is a America of mortgaged energy debt, urban wastelands, political stagnation, and raging social contagions worth 'conserving'? The future is localism and a pragmatic combination of various policies (currently considered right and left), like you mentioned; the right needs to stop preserving rot, and present their own alternative form of progress. Trains, not troons, as one might say.

Funny how it was a few days ago, Breitbart claims that for the past four months, viewerships and ratings have dropped consistently in the 18-45 age group. Now, I’m not even sure who will still watch this even if Joe Biden was a guest.

I don’t actually remember it being as desperate when Obama did this in the second term. If anything, he’d loved it when the cameras were on him since he was never fully challenged by them. With Biden, he’s trying to make it look to the press that he IS being challenged.

That’s the insane part.

Should note that late nigh talk shows are glorified cult of personality vehicles at this point.

No one watches them because they give a shit about what is actually on the show, it's all about who is hosting them and a rather pathetic celebrity loyalty thing combined with a level of fanboy sunk fallacy that is based on the premise that "Colbert/Fallon/Meyers/Kimmel used to be funny and in theory could still be funny in the future and I refuse to turn on them as a result of that hope".

Sole exception is The Daily Show: No one gives a shit about Trevor Noah, just the brand and even then, The Daily Show is a zombie franchise by this point and Comedy Central won't kill it because it and South Park are the ONLY fucking things they have left at this point and South Park hasn't even had a full and proper season in TWO fucking years and might as well be canceled, since TPTB decided to yank it off of cable and effectively make South Park streaming only until further notice, to prop up their failing Paramount Plus streaming website.

As for Fallon; it should note that he tends to be the least political of the network talk show hosts (which says something) and even then, he's been browbeaten and blood libeled ENDLESSLY because he is the only fucking host who has had the balls to say that we shouldn't be actively calling for the death of half the nation because they voted for Orange Man. Which caused him to bend the knee to not get lynched/canceled.

There is a cynical part of me that thinks the sudden outflux of "How dare the media treat Biden worse than Trump!" outrage articles are a scam, the same way that the media justified continuing giving Trump press (after being blamed for his election by liberal elites who felt that unpersoning Trump would have kept him from getting the nomination from a Republican Hillary could have beaten easily) by going from simply covering Trump to covering Trump negatively so as to appease the liberal elites.

The media can not fucking go for Biden's throat and document what a lying corrupt piece of shit he is, without insulting the liberal elite, DNC, etc. BUT they can circumnavigate the ban on being critical of Biden by not actually writing the articles attacking him and instead write articles attacking themselves for said non-existent articles so they can PRETEND to be critical of Biden and list how he's fucking up in passing, while at the same time appeasing the liberal elite/DNC/etc by attacking people for CRITICIZING the President. Even if the media is too chickenshit to actually criticize him and has to do elaborate dances such as I describe to do so.

And they need 60 or the filibuster nuked to do it.

Again, if the 2020 election was legitimate, why are they passing legislation to make the events that occured in the 2020 election legal?

My biggest fear is that the Democrats will get panicky as fuck in 2022 and A. kill the filibuster to make the 2021 stealing of the election legal and then pass as much crazy ass shit as they can to have SOMETHING to run on in November or B. Once they lose HARD in November 2022, Schumer will kill the filibuster the very next morning and start ramroding so much shit through in their lame duck to spite the Republicans so that they will have to spend all of 2023-2024 undoing the Democrats shit, while also doing shit to make it next to IMPOSSIBLE to undo the Filibuster's removal and the other shit that the Democrats ramrod through during that lame duck session.

A middle-of-the-road president with nothing to shout about, good or bad.

But, she's being villified, or at least her mistakes are being highlighted more, because if/when she becomes president, she will outshine biden and ruin his legacy. She will be so much better than him (like anybody would) that biden would be forgotten before he went cold. She has been set up before day 1

Think about it, she got spanked in the debates by Tulsi, who would make anyone look a twatt. That has been publicised everywhere. Yet who did Mr President debate with? He got just as spanked, and when it came to the debate with Trump, they threw Biden soft ball questions, ignored foreign policy (lol) and ran damage control for the hunter laptop.

biden is getting protected, kamala is getting thrown under the bus.

Thanks for attending my Spedtalk

The issue with Kamala is that she's the type of "My way or the high way" narcissist, let alone the type that thinks Obama was too "nice" during his Presidency and should have ruled like a tyrant.

Adding to this is that women politicians tend to be more hardcore tyrannical leadership-wise because of the notion that a woman has to be twice as harsh as a man to get respect as a leader. See Thatcher and Merkel, for example.

If Kamala was President, the filibuster would be DOA, the federal and Supreme Court packed with liberal judges and conservative judges illegally impeached on false charges, white people rendered second class citizens if not stripped of all of their rights, and all of the resources of the government weaponized to destroy the GOP as a viable party through any means necessary up to and including having all of the Congressmen that the Democrats want arrested over 1-6, being arrested and thrown into Gitmo and tortured for the rest of their lives.

That town is gone. Literally.
Wonder if old man dementia will handle this better than Dubya and his fema camps back when Katrina hit.
