I’ve done quite a bit of apologetics for historical practices that are considered wrong now, various fads in medicine and society that held sway previous my, even in this thread. I can defend corsets, leaches, lobotomies, electroshock, you name it. I have no idea how we will ever defend the troons. It’s a failure of reason.

I know this is late, but what peak transd me wasn't trans individuals, but rather the conspiracy that this is "big pharma" trying to profit off of HRT, which is no longer considered helpful among most menopausal women.
For the most part I don't care about the "safety" thing. I think something that men overlook is that to a women, all individuals are dangerous. Women don't see other women as inherently non-threatening, so that's why they have an easier time accepting transwoman as woman, despite the fact that men see transwoman/TIMs as an aberration in that regard. Yeah, transwoman are freaks openly on twitter, but I know more women who have sexually assaulted other women(generally straight women too who are bullies) than I do men or transwoman. You don't have to agree with me, since this is just anecdotal, but I'm just saying it's what I believe based on my experiences.
And I'm also not usually a Big Pharma believer, but there are instances where companies will sell drugs knowing that the drugs will maim the users, and so in this case they are taking advantage of people who want badly to be maimed. Which I think is wrong, and why I've backed off on a lot of my trans support. This isn't something superficial like piercings or tattoos or scars either, its potentially life threatening procedures, and I just don't think it's right to "pressure" people into it.

Your spoiler on Jaime's paper was illuminating. The fact she acted surprised at MRUI scans showing arousal in real time making or breaking her work makes me wonder how the fuck she got her PhD in the first place. It's usually a norm for any sexual study, including porn studies, to measure arousal in real time with MRI or other measurements. You can't use surveys and forum posts because people, naturally, bullshit. It is equivalent to this paper that showed that despite saying on paper they supported gay right and gay men, men across the political spectrum had a deep seated disgust at seeing two men kiss. This was neurological; this was not influenced by opinion. This is why you use hard science to back up your work.Here is another Tif with a roidclit, saying how even now, "it hurts when it's been overused". My guess is that she was even awarded her PhD, in such a short time, in the first place because she was trans. Intelligence has nothing to do with it; her content is bottom of the barrel reactionary content and she routinely shows how dumb and ignorant she is. Yes, Jaime, eye tracking and genital arousal studies do exist and have been used even by the fucking Kinsey Institute.
Example: here's Jaime saying that ROGD doesn't exist. Littman's studies are flawed because she recruited parents, see, but Jaime's work is solid because muh peer review!
