Without a doubt, that’s the idea. They not only fail to achieve that effect on a dude shape, but what offends me fashion-wise is that they never go with the outfits in terms of color, texture, or level of formality- that patterned red dress with a patterned silver belt (?!?) sitting too low on his waist, with the end just flapping loose. Stacey is blatantly trying to reintroduce the Geek Social Fallacies, which have suffered some blows in recent years as formerly affected communities have started to do a better job of excluding creeps and predators from their midst. (Coincidentally, this happened around the same time that more and more creepy males in nerd communities started trooning out, almost as if they were attempting to sidestep this exclusion. Makes you think.)

Not only does Stacey want trannies to continue to not gatekeep their own community, he gets enraged if anyone else attempts any kind of gatekeeping or accountability, because it's society's fault and TW have suffered so much! Of course, this same understanding is not offered to anyone else: if a rape victim who has suffered her whole life at the hands of men doesn't want a penis in a changing room, she's still a disgusting TERF. If a Spanish-speaking service worker gets someone's pronouns wrong, he still deserves to be fired. Only transwomen's feelings are real, and only their circumstances deserve to be taken into account.

In the last week he's posted like a dozen more threads whining about being iced out and misunderstood. He's digging in his heels complaining about "fake allies" who "sometimes go by they/them" but don't support trans women's healthcare demands strongly enough to satisfy him. As we all know, trans people aren't Real™ unless they personally hold Stacy's hand through his body modification journey.

It's a little amusing watching MTFs and FTNBs duke it out for social power, but it's also the ultimate junk food of Internet drama and I'm sure it's melting my mind.

I can't help but wonder whether, in the same way that modern troons took over the LGBT movement because so many people found spicy heterosexuals more palatable than actual gays, enbies will win the Troon Wars because they are slightly less threatening and annoying than the angry crossdressers. I think the fact that the admins of r/mypartneristrans are trans is extremely telling. History will look at us like we're retards.

Any major board has at least one trans moderator - there's a literal cabal of powermods and they squeeze their way onto any board that's getting traction.

A notable exception is /r/UKpolitics, which is why they were the ones to break the Aimee Challenor news - reddit deleted any articles featuring the name, so the mods were confused that the article was deleted (Aimee was literally just a footnote in an unrelated story) and they actually fought their corner. You could see the impact of the moderation capture based on which subreddits participated in the protest, including some that initially went private and then had that subverted.

It bears repeating, it's legitimately difficult to avoid having transgender moderators in online spaces purely because there's so many terminally online trans women who are willing to Do It For Free. There was even a transgender mod on here for a while, and Null eventually had to intervene and basically implement a no tranny janny rule after they started fucking around with censorship. That worked because Null doesn't care about being called transphobic - but on other platforms there's no way to fix the situation once the rot sets in.

I imagine MyPartnerIsTrans probably had a powermod apply and there wasn't a good argument why they didn't want a transgender mod who could help weed out transphobic misinformation and provide resources (after all, not everyone on there wants to leave their partner), and then "ditch your husband" became hate speech.

This is going to seem very petty in comparison to red latex Claire, but I legitimately have never seen a woman irl wear a blouse/waistcoat combo.
You do see it on TV occasionally, like Jen on the IT Crowd:

But I've never in my life encountered a professional woman wearing this outfit. A woman in a three piece suit, yes, but never just a waistcoat. It's like something a "sexy librarian" would wear.

Well, if we apply liberal feminist logic, we can get to the conclusion that troons can not rape. It goes like this:

It's a quirk of British law that rape is only ever forced penetration with a penis. Anything else, such as forcing someone to penetrate you or forcibly penetrating someone with your fingers or a dildo, is classed as sexual assault. (They are sentenced the same, it's just a legal distinction).

Therefore the only people who can be sentenced for rape categorically must have a penis. So the only women sentenced for rape are trans women. If we get the stats on the number of women sentenced for rape, you'll have a picture of how many trans women raped someone in the last year.
