Effectiveness of vaccines against Omicron from the UK government.
First graph is Astra Zeneca (grey dots) with pfizer booster (black)

Second graph is bad. Vaccine efficacy against symptomatic disease falls to less than 40% with 2 doses of Pfizer. Less than 60% means the vaccines are worthless as a public health measure.
The first graph however is catastrophic. There's a big giant disclaimer in the report that there aren't enough cases to confirm any trends however if this bears out we're looking at something that could indeed end up overwhelming the public hospital system in the UK. After 2 doses of AZ they're reporting a negative 60% efficacy against severe disease compared to the unvaccinated. Instead of protecting against illness those double jabbed with AZ are 60% more likely to get sick compared to purebloods. We were wondering if ADE was a thing well it looks like it could be.
Better news, if we believe it, is that the boosters have some effect but not great. Triple jabbed with Pfizer as low as 60%, marginally useful, maybe as good as the annual flu vaccine which is pretty much useless. Double jabbed with the AZ vaccine and Pfizer booster as low as 40% efficacy so useless but may protect against ADE.
I'm not wanting to doomsperg here. We know from South Africa that Omicron Covid is presenting with a far milder disease profile than Delta, and I assumed that would hold true in the rest of the world. However South Africa has very low rates of vaccination compared to western countries so it may well be that the data they're reporting won't be replicated.
If this isn't setting off major alarm bells I don't know what the fuck will. We need to immediately stop injecting the unvaccinated, especially children. The fact that they're carrying on with rolling out childhood vaccine programs is appalling and incredibly dangerous. It may well be that the vaccinated actually do need to get a booster to protect them from severe disease but that should be limited to only the deathfats and old. Giving young people boosters is only setting them up for the next variant.
There was speculation that 'someone' would release a virus that would use the vaccine S-protein antibodies as binding and enhance infection. Omicron Covid seems to be particularly good at using the Adenovector vaccine antibodies to bind to and not the mRNA ones.
