Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

That and the other major hurdle of him being South African. I am sure the dems aren't above straight up subverting that requirement but not for Musk.

Seriously though, the 2024 election is -fucked- for the Democrats. Consider the 2020 primary. Joe Biden got 51.8% of the vote. followed by Sanders at 26.3, Warren at 7.7, Bloomberg at 6.8 and not a single other person cracking 3%.


Those numbers aren't even fucking close. That was a blowout primary for a -contested- primary. Anyone who got below 10% isn't even viable in Blue states. Compare to the 2016 Republican primary where Trump got 44.9, Cruz at 25.1, Rubio at 11.3, and Kasich at 13.8.

That is a normal spread. One with a plurality, a good runner up, and a few hovering over 10 for who stayed in. That indicates viability in a different race.

I have GOT to know why you think the last impeachment was unconstitutional... since only congress can impeach, and only the senate can try an impeachment, and that's what happened? It's well established from common law and none of it is a mystery. I mean, to me.

Let us add another issue with 2024 for the Dems candidates I haven't seen anyone mention here.

If they didn't run in 2020. they won't run in 2024.

2020 was a wide-open primary against someone -viewed- as a weak president by the left. Meaning it was anyone's game to beat him, and the Establishment (at the start) had no favored candidate. Anyone and everyone who had any form of presidential ambition was in that race. There are no new up-and-comers to fill out new ranks. The 2020 list -is- the 2024 list.
