I'd agree but for her overtures toward Pelosi and the Democrats at large. The big ones I can think of off the top of my head are not forcing a vote on healthcare for all, tearfully and publicly switching her vote on iron dome funding, and not fanning Tara Reade's story in the wake of Biden's nomination. I genuinely think that she considers herself to have gotten herself in the party's good graces, and that if your scenario is going to happen, it's going to happen in the wake of 2024 should she run. So less of a shocking announcement, and more of a "Christ almighty she got rolled" kind of announcement.

You clearly haven't looked up the stats since 2010, at this point the military is mostly POCs and Women of both the trans and cis variety. even if you limited the civil war to just veterans and people in the service as of right now. the left would outnumber the right 2 to 1.
