Fuck you Chibi. I'm not religious in the least and even I say that this is a pretty shitty thing to do to your parents.

Whether you agree with their religion or not shouldn't matter. Your parents will always want the best for you and if they're religious this means you being religious as well. They're worried about you and this is what they think is the best option for you.

Even though Chibi is an "adult" he's acting like a child. Even at my fedora tipping peak when I was in high school I recognized that the majority of people who want you to join their religion are doing so out of love for you and a sincere belief that if you don't accept their religion you'll go to a bad place when you die.

So on and so forth. As I powerlevelled earlier, I am not the least bit religious. But religious people have helped me out a ton in my life and if you're going to REEE at the mere concept of endorsing anything that goes with religion you're just as much of a closed-minded bigot as your presumed opposition. Most religious people aren't the fire and brimstone type, at least not in practical situations in America when your mother is asking you to go.

The thing is also that we have no way of knowing just how forceful Chibi's mom was because he is the boy who cries wolf twice a week for over a decade now. Nothing he says should ever be taken at face value by anyone. Even if she was straight up telling her autistic son "GO TO CHURCH OTHERWISE I LET YOU DIE IN A GUTTER," I wouldn't believe it if it came from Chibi's mouth. You reap what you sow.

Those were all business expenses that he is totally going to be able to write off his taxes next year, so they were basically free. That would be Chibi's excuse if ever presented with these facts.

Even if this actually happened, I get the strong sense Chibi is playing it up for sympathy and to try to manipulate people into taking to him or going out with him. It's just so convenient he's been attention seeking the past few days to no avail and now suddenly his mom is doing something that has SO TOTALLY UPSET HIM and wouldn't you please call him please come and take him out he will pay he just needs help and support pls
