Seems like when he was denying it on twitter he thought he was actually fooling people, but on Gab with hundreds of thousands of followers, it seems more like he's deliberately drawing attention to it in a wink and nudge kind of way. Something along the lines of "ATTENTION EVERYONE: This twitter account is definitely not me and you should definitely not follow it because it's not me. People think this is my account, but it's definitely not. So definitely do not follow this twitter account."
