It's clear that the company didn't take a closer look at his socialblade - but they didn't need to. The deal is pretty safe for the sponsor - the Youtuber only takes a cut from sales.

the short answer is that people spend their entire lives trying to define these terms and quite a few inkwells have been drained in the course of political philosophy on it. Fair enough, I remember digging into it a while back and the history of fascism, as well as the original philosophy is interesting because of how convoluted it is due to existing for a very short period of time and having multiple versions that were in power in different countries and competing for being the one true fascism. Then it just became about ovens or some shit because that's the only thing people remember anymore.
