I don't think they are getting it less as much as it is they are getting it at the same rate, and the vaccinated are more public figures, so it seems like the vaccinated are getting it more.

Demolition Man's only mistake was placing its future in the 2030s. Most of it (except the cryogenic shit and the franchise wars) was near-reality in the 2010s, right down to the obsession with advertising jingles, sexual schizophrenia, and linguistic puritanism. Outside of the urban areas and even in some suburbs COVID is not an issue anymore.

The town I am nearby in Idaho tried mask mandate but the cops refused to enforce it unless it was a trespass call.

With the area over 60% Trump not a lot of business owners enforced the law. Even in tresspass cases the cops assigned it the lowest priority. In effect this means a cop took a meal break before responding. The business owners soon learned that if a person was shopping peaceful without a mask the cops would arrive from a 1.5 to 2 hours later. When the cops did show up they interviewed involved employee taking the off the floor. Eventually the mask enforcing business owners got the message and stopped calling.
