Its akin to texas breaking away. Its authenticity as an actual country is in question. Most of its history its been conquered by someone..mostly poland, hubgary or russia buts its language is more eastern european than russian

But i know serouis efforts have been underway to forge a better national indentity.
A doomer in a early 40s unironically spewing Russian agitprop lines about legitimacy of Ukrainian state and language.

Tell me, do you have a visible beer belly and do you work in a shitty job with no prospects? I just wonder if the stereotype of an "expert in geopolitics" is the same in the West, as it is in the East.

Is Hungarian the one with like twenty cases?

Only 18.

We had problems with people getting frostbite in Southern California. Winter straight sucks for men lying in ditches, distributing lead.

This is an advantage on Russia's side. Russian military doctrine, since the end of WWII, has relied on massive pushes of mechanized infantry fixed on providing a gap for armored divisions to push through and exploit. The Soviets (and now Russians) have been wargaming this shit ever since the Fulda Gap meant something. The winter in Ukraine will mean frozen ground for tanks and APCs to cross through without getting swallowed up by mud. It will mean that, before that break comes, the Ukrainians will have to freeze in trenches and then freeze when they're making ragged withdrawals further and further west as the Russians drive a corridor to Transnistria.

The only real hope Ukraine has at this point if the Russians actually invade is that Poland is willing to intervene to protect western Ukraine to prevent another Russian satellite state on its borders.

The greatest crime against the newly created Ukrainian identity is that "potato nigger" is already associated with the Irish

Small question for the more informed people in this thread:

What exactly is up with both the Donetsk an Luhansk secessionist states LARPing as a People's Republic to the point that they call their parliament a People's council and the Luhanskis having an emblem that is rather reminiscent of the soviets?

Are they actually left-wing or just trying to mirror that weird modern-day russian patriotism with its soviet nostalgia?
They are socialist, but fiscal issues aren’t the priority right now. It’s about sovereignty and defining a national identity. The two sides are pro-Russia and anti-Russia. You’re going to find capitalists and communists in both camps.

Russia is not forging a national identity there. The national identity is "belonging to Mother Russia".

Russia has always been a collection of independent nations. It was an emprie, then a union of socialist states, and now it’s a federation. The amount of autonomy each nation gets varies wildly, but there is no dichotomy between having a national identity and being part of Russia. They are separate issues.

Russia has always attempted to meld all the nations she ruled into a blend that she calls "Russians". Please stop talking out of your ass. This is the reason Russia uses the Russian language as a weapon to leverage against her ideological opponents and attempts to make "speaking Russian" = "being Russian".

>90s
The rot set in under Wilson, the death of America happened in the 30s, everything since FDR has been the frog getting boiled to a crispy death. The last decent administration was about 100 years ago. You're decades late.
Aye, Calvin Coolidge is criminally underrated and in my opinion was the last to represent the true Americana of old.

That's pretty much every empire's playbook unless it was a colony with darkies.

The Jews were happy to write their books in Greek until they needed to prove some guy named Jesus wrong.

Independence for Provence! Viva Vince McMahon! Viva Provence!

I can also speak in non-sequiturs. Yuo - of faggot...oh wait, that actually is logical based on what you wrote.
I’m just saying that making up bullshit identities out of thin air is an ancient Jewish tradition. What an amazing culture!
