Amy is related to the Duggars, who are infamous for many fucking things. One of them was having the older children raise the children while Jim Bob and Michelle did things reproduce even more for the Lord. Both Josh (the oldest) and Jana (the latter of who was the most prominent sister mommy) are in big legal trouble for things like child pornography and child neglect. (Josh also has a history of molesting his sisters, but he was never charged due to Jim Bob protecting him, the statute of limitations etc) If there's anyone who can attest on just how bad an idea it is to have older children parent the younger ones, it'd be someone like Amy. In fairness, reading an Ayn Rand book is like taking a rubber mallet to the skull every second on the second, to the point where merely setting the book aside for a few minutes might feel like emergency medical interference. But yeah, I can imagine how a brief perusal of Rand's sociopathically selfish oeuvre might be appealing to someone like Lou.

I might be late but he's using it because Zack Snyder (who did the version of capeshit Lou doesn't like) is a big fan of her work. I'll admit that I was kind of into The Fountainhead when I was a teenager (because 2112) because the message of "never compromise your artistic sensibilities for society" is very appealing to young people, but I tapped out of Atlas Shrugged about the time I got to the first multi-page speech. But the important thing isn't that he has any real intellectual opposition to Objectivism. It's capeshit. Also, I did find the Snyder Cut to be a weirdly homoerotic cascade of angsty bullshit interspersed by slow, sad, shitty covers of Gen X hits, but at least its artistic vision was coherent. I'll take one shitty vision over two shitty visions in a slapfight any day. Lou's only motivation is fapping to his WonderWaifu, so I don't think he's paying too much attention to the story of the movies he watches.

There's a bit of 'you're calling out the thread target so we cut you some slack', and some 'oh, they're a troon?'. Overall, they're still a troon and will be made fun of if they do something cowish, but when you're getting called a Farmer by someone as repulsive as Lou just because you're calling out his bullshit, you generally get a little bit of slack.

Personally, she's like hachxo or whatever their name was who called out Jake Alley and promptly got piled on - mentally, I think of them as women, but I end up using he just because it can be easier to not muddle up who's being talked about in context.

He went, and then plagiarised his brother and got booted, I believe. His laziness meant he not only didn't finish his degree, but he got kicked out for cheating.

Other cows, no matter how reprehensible, have at least one achievement or one positive you can point to, no matter how small. I'm not really surprised that Lou isn't into Hazbin/Helluva Boss though, he seems like the kind who'd get on the smug 'this is problematic for xyz' side of things. It's also a show aimed at adult audiences despite being animated, and the general rule seems to be that Lou can't comprehend media that isn't aimed at little kids.
