General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Its my opinion the collabs they watched were collabs where everyone but Calli is actually playing in awake hours meanwhile its dead of night for poor Calli
Fair enough, but why hold those few as a representation of her whole career? Other Holos (like Gura and Ame) have been low in collabs as well, so where's the spergouts over them? Hell, I'd argue Calli tends to be one of the more socially active in collabs even when visibly tired. Shit like Meme Review and Pummel Party is the minority, not the rule.

Also, here's a hot take: "Season 2 Mori" is really overhyped. She's not drastically different than she was half a year ago. She just does more and longer streams and is better with stream prep. Her personality in collabs and the structure of her content is still largely the same.

That's because it's the limit of their creativity. No one is listening to holobass because it's his beats it's because he features hololive voices. Just like no one is playing that indie devs game because he made it, they are playing because ame is in it. There is literally nothing for them to capitalize on because as soon as they make something not hololive related they are gonna lose the interest of 99% of their new followers. They would be nothing without hololive hence why the dev's 2nd popular game was about cali and why Holobass other popular songs also featured ame. They essentially trapped themselves in a box with no earnings only momentary praise but praise isn't going to pay the bills.
That makes a lot of sense actually.

I'll admit I somewhat understand how they feel; they're just not handling it well. I also don't think that mentioning mental illness means they're trying to excuse their behavior. They're still (seemingly) holding themself responsible for it.

The first sentence in it was all that was needed.
I'd pick the second one, actually.

EDIT:
He’s salty and bitter that he wasn’t picked to do the smol 3D models, the rooms, and/or the christmas add-ons.
Nevermind, he's a faggot.

If you haven't been watching Lui's "Almost Daily Shorts" videos, I should like to point out that most of them are English-subtitled (via the actual YT captions feature, not baked-in).

Here's her pretty decent impression of Yagoo, although unfortunately she missed the opportunity to throw a "Sou desu ne" in there:

In other HoloX news, everyone but Chloe has a schedule up now. To recap:
- Laplus: Towa and Shion collabs listed
- Koyori: Mio collabs listed
- Lui: "Secret" space listed
- Iroha: "Secret" space listed

The only collab I want, I think that it was overdue, and everyone definitely tune in is Gura X Mumei country songs karaoke.

Mumei had been dropping impromptu unarchive singing streams left and right and Gura only sing for chumbuds for now.

Hmm. Haachama taking advantage of The Matrix: Resurrections advertising or what?
Or she subtle low blow those internet autists.
BluePill = le forbidden knowledge 🤡
Redpill = cute girls do retard things is entertainment regardless how they look like irl.

Took me all day but I finally got through the EN Christmas collab. To be honest, these giant collabs don't do much for me, especially with limited POVs. There's usually like five conversations going on at once, they tend to drag a bit, and it's hard to keep up with who you're actually interested in. Still, it was entertaining enough. For me some of the highlights were:
- Ame needing to constantly remind herself to do more than hangout with Gura
- Bae running around like a spaz with the marker
- Mumei's addition to the story: "then he got a very modest job delievering fast food."
- Gura crawling on the ground the entire time.

Kronii going to test how small big her brain is. It's gonna be funny when she does worse than the Mumei, the tard owl.

I feel the same about the big VRchat collabs, it's really hard to get much out of them at times, until the clips come out and show everything I missed.
That being said, I thought the part where they opened presents (which were all "ornaments" that they designed for each other and had 3D modeled) was superb -- because it was planned, interesting, and more importantly, everyone had one thing to focus on. The storytelling parts usually work out well too.

And yeah, Kronii doing the brain training game should be a lot of fun given her personality.

Meanwhile, Rosemi is doing a 150K celebration, and I don't know what all it consists of yet, but it looks like she's getting creative with it. She's got 5 items on the itinerary, and the first was some kind of "choose your own" horror story driven by Youtube polls, with different scenes and choices for her to act out. Pretty cheesy but fun.

Gonna have to try and pay attention to that and Kronii at the same time. Maybe I should just be a tribalfag.

I'll probably watch it anyway but yeah my ears were bleeding during the halloween stream when gen 2 entered the stream. 11 degenerate weebs all making retard anime noises simultaneously
