You make a solid point, but at the same time, I'm thinking that perhaps collapse is exactly what needs to happen so that the slate can be wiped entirely clean. I've used this metaphor a few times: if you have a dilapidated home that is falling apart, you wouldn't simply knock that house down and immediately build another one on top of the deteriorating, cracked foundation. If you do that, you'll have all kinds of problems in the future, and your newly constructed home would end up with moisture intrusion, sagging floors, etc. You would break up and rip out the old, cracked foundation and pour a new one, then build your new home atop it, knowing full-well that you're probably fine for the foreseeable future.

Had to see a friend at the hospital today, went in through the E.R entrance because it was closer it was busy but not a nightmare so i thought nothing of it. almost all were hispanic or a hiatian. who goes to the E.R. for any medical problem because they don't pay for shit. the cases number is prob 1/3 just mexicans at the E.R. testing positive for covid while getting a sprain fixed up, and the hospital uses that to leverage more money. No room for unvaxed americans, just unvaxed mexicans at the hospital.
