There was no reason for them to go to war in the first place, it's not like Sombra girl was trying to steal the Chong or had literally anything to do with Clair. She went and picked a beef for no reason at all, other than maybe being jealous because Sombra girl got doxed by the dastardly fruit ranch.
Oh absolutely, but Clair definitely has greater chimpout potential than Sombra and things have been pretty boring in waifuland as of late.
The way she treats Chongyun reminds me of the way Jin treated Twilight. Ignoring her canon interests (reading, magic, science) and making her conveniently obsessed with his own hobby (retro vidya). Never giving her any opinions that went against his own. Making her decide to live with him in a shitstained plush prison instead of staying in Equestria with her friends despite there being 9 seasons about how important her friends are to her. Altering or erasing major events because Twilight told him it didn't actually happen that way. It's the old "you don't love me, you love the idea of me" cliché.
Undeniable similarities, I just hope she doesn't shit on a Chongyun plushie and start talking about yiffing puppies and cumming in diapers on her subreddit.
What's interesting (and somewhat horrifying) is how Jin initially sort of respected Twilight's interests and canon personality to some degree. There were mentions of her reading quite frequently and being curious of human science and shit like this, she actually kinda had her own likes and dislikes and then slowly she eroded into a complete extension of Jin.
