Maybe this whole thing is some kind of elaborate denial/suppression tactic? Her running from anything remotely feminine sadly backs that up, a lot of women on 600lb life who were assaulted gained the weight to be undesirable. I can see Pixy thinking that looking like a man will protect her.

Her ex also (allegedly) let his friends have sex with her. It was never really clear exactly how consenting PT was to that. It seemed from what she talked about that it was more something he was into.

Yeah, that is an interesting choice of book to read, not something I would expect anyone to read for fun. No though, aside from maybe manga, she hasn't never indicated reading any actual books, let alone serious ones, before. I know she was an English major, but she never talked really much about the stuff she studied as far as I know. Seriously, sometimes I forget that she has a bachelor's degree in English sometimes.
