What we're looking at here is the graft donor site covered with Integra which is supposed to aid skin regrowth. Looks fucked up now but here's another one (done by resident butchers Crane and Santucci, source) that's been covered with it that looks a lot less, uhh, horrifying, than other ones treated through other grafting methods if all goes as planned... Though I do feel like this one is the absolute BEST outcome they could've possibly gotten, and I'm sure it usually turns out a lot worse cosmetically.

I think some of these butchers create problems on purpose so that their patients come back and they get more money.

you’ve got to wonder about some of the conversations between the ER actual medical professionals, and the retard hacks who are clogging up their workloads maiming people and giving them horrendous advice- especially when they find out this guy was basically told to chill for a few days with this abomination going on.

This is true. They pretty much kicked my grandmother out right before Christmas, when she had been recovering from pneumonia (years ago before covid-craze). She wasn't very with it through Christmas and ended up collapsing the day after. Fortunately my aunt was still there that day and was able to immediately call the squad and have her taken back. She ended up staying there through to the new year.
