I knew it, it's finally starting to happen. Drag queens are FINALLY starting to get torn apart by the transfolk.

If there's anything that could rile up white women more than anything, it's the cancellation of their Drag Race. The average woman doesn't give a shit about sports records being broken or some fringe jail issue (because they think people in jail deserve being beaten up anyway) but removing their little show? That's going to cause a fucking civil war.

This has been going on for years now, to get you up to speed:

Drag queens banned from performing at Free Pride Glasgow event over fears acts will offend trans people

A Pride event in Glasgow has banned drag queens from performing, after committee members decided acts could offend trans people.

Free Pride Glasgow, which bills itself as an anti-commercialist alternative to the Scottish city’s main Pride event, said trans and non-binary committee members were “uncomfortable with having drag performances“.

The organisation said in a statement that it hopes to create a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual) community, and that while the decision may "disappoint" some people "the needs of the most marginalised groups within our community come first."

It went on to stress that attendees can wear "what they want" and "express their gender how they please", but that "self-described drag acts" would not be allowed to perform.

Free Pride Glasgow said: “It was felt that it [drag performance] would make some of those who were transgender or questioning their gender uncomfortable. It was felt by the group within the Trans/Non Binary Caucus that some drag performance, particularly cis drag, hinges on the social view of gender and making it into a joke, however transgender individuals do not feel as though their gender identity is a joke.”

The decision has received a largely negative response, prompting the establishment of a Boycott Glasgow Free Pride Facebook page.

Michelle Visage, a judge on the hit cult TV show RuPaul's Drag Race and an LGBT ally, urged people to attend Pride Glasgow and Pride Edinburgh instead. However, some questioned her right to comment as a non-trans, or cis gender, woman.

Some Facebook users complained on the Free Pride Glasgow page that drag performers were being discriminated against, while others praised the organisation for taking a progressive approach.

Facebook fan Ben Goldstein wrote: "You seem like a group that is focused on progressive inclusive values [...] I understand the discomfort with drag by some - drag usually seems at least a bit misogynist to me, it relies upon stereotypes and characterizations largely created and enforced by patriarchy and male chauvinism."

However Andi Leipist wrote: "So more discrimination and segregation in an already small minority community. Is that really the way to get a supportive message across?"

Pridge Glasgow said that it understood Free Pride’s intentions, and said that its committee had a similar discussion in 2010.

However, the organisers told Pink News: “we took the decision that Drag Queens and Kings play an important part in the history of the Pride movement and should be included in the event.”

A spokesperson from leading LGBT charity Stonewall said: “We must always ensure that all parts of our diverse LGBT community are catered for.

“Pride events are about celebrating how far we've come, and focusing on the work we have left to do. Individuals and groups who support this, and who support equality for all, should be welcomed to be a part of these events”.

There have been other attempts to get them banned also from smaller events, you will hear talk from trannies like India Willoughby Drag Queens compared to clowns

'Hypocrite' India Willoughby slammed by Celebrity Big Brother viewers for drag queen 'fear' after slating Amanda Barrie for mistaking her gender

India Willoughby faced a backlash online after she admitted to being “scared” of drag queens hours after she hit out at Amanda Barrie for accidentally misgendering her.
Celebrity Big Brother viewers accused the Channel 5 newsreader, who underwent full gender reassignment surgery in 2015, of hypocrisy and making discriminatory comments ahead of the arrival of Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Courtney Act.
On seeing Act’s VT she said: “You know how people are scared of clowns? I’m like that with drag queens.”

The comment came hours after she refused to accept Barrie’s apology after the former Coronation Street star referred to Willoughby as a “he”.

Viewers were quick to accuse Willoughby of double standards and slammed her for comparing drag queens to clowns.

One user tweeted: “The same India offended by being called he is the same India calling drag queens clowns. Wow. #CBB.”
Another posted: “Who were the first people to fight for your rights India sweetie? Drag queens. #cbb.”
A third wrote: “Why is it that INDIA demands to be accepted the way she is yet is unwilling to accept drag queens?! #hypocrite #CBB.”

Willoughby and Barrie were embroiled in an explosive argument after Barrie attempted to laugh off her slip-up with regards to Willoughby’s gender.
Willoughby said: “That's twice you've misgendered me. Amanda – that's the second time she's misgendered me and she's just chuckled.”
After Barrie apologised, Willoughby continued: “Well, an apology is not enough because I'm sorry, but I did explain to you how important it was and that's twice you've done it. You certainly don't misgender someone and then have a chuckle.”

Barrie later attempted to apologise for a second time for her “stupid slip” which she insisted “was not intentionally hurtful”.
“I can do no more than apologise,” she said. “But if you don't want to take the apology that is up to you. I am the least likely person ever to be prejudiced or anything against anyone and anybody who knows me knows that.”

Willoughby said: “You’re right Amanda, silly me taking offence. Apology not accepted.”
It marked the second time Barrie has referred to Willoughby as a “he”. Rachel Johnson and Ann Widdecombe have also made the same mistake.
Act, real name SHane Jenek, was among eight male stars added to the house on Friday night.

This is not going to end anytime soon, pushing on till it pisses off the masses, and I'm all for it! How could anyone who's against this shit not?

Because she's a liberal woman who dares to have opinions against the dogma, and you know how that cult goes, if someone doesn't 100% adhere to the doctrine they're public enemy #1. Plus many trannies are autists who are still obsessed with Harry Potter so they get this weird sense of betrayal.
Also she’s white and mum-aged, either literally in relation to their own mums or she’s the age their mum was when they were a teenager. Find me a tranny male or female who doesn’t despise their own mum and tbqh you’ve probably found one of the few tolerable troons.

Just as an aside someone earlier in this thread talked about unironically simping for men who see troons for what they are and I feel the same way. My love language is now men acknowledging that sex is real and transwomen arent women - the bar is so low *sigh*

Ha, I think that was me. But the bar shouldn't really be there. Find yourself a nice terfy Chad and then hold him to a high standard. I promise you, they're out there.

It is amusing that troons are so predictable in their personality and tism I can even clock them just with a few quotes.

I was reading this article on the SNES port of Another World and it said the port laid entirely on Rebecca Heineman so I thought "neat, like that Sierra laday" then the talks about Japanese Xenophobia and autistic hardware insights, knowing moon runes in the 90s... and I had to check Wikipedia.

dodell is my favorite TIM on reddit since crayonization got hellbanned. Just a full circus. Probably deserves his own thread, I'm sure the FBI child-trafficking folks have one on him already.

Anyway, gyns, you know how when you cum from headpats????

I keep seeing coomers talking about “headpats”. Is it code for a sex thing?

I've always said that the best way to pass is to get a secondary extreme characteristic that makes people focus on it rather than your gender - ie become a gender blob or get massive amounts of plastic surgery.
Worked for Amanda Lepore

Ha, I think that was me. But the bar shouldn't really be there. Find yourself a nice terfy Chad and then hold him to a high standard. I promise you, they're out there.
IMO I fully believe most people are secret TERFs who pretend to be supportive to save face, or at the very least indifferent because they haven't peaked yet but their opinion of troons is not the best, despite attempts at "inclusivity." Men especially, since they're less likely to be involved in that shit unless they're autistic or trannies themselves. In fact it's pretty funny, whenever a male coworker or friend finds out what my real stance on TRA is, suddenly it feels like they're actually comfortable around me now that they don't have to walk on eggshells. So yeah, I highly doubt TERFy men are the minority lol, they're just afraid to speak out like the rest of us. There is hope yet, fellow femcels.

Discussions of passing are cursed here, because to some troons it can mean "getting "correctly" gendered out of nothing but niceness" and to some kiwis it means "being identical to a bio-person of their desired gender while naked under scrutiny and a strong light" (which is never ever ever gonna happen)

Neither work because passing is contextual and the whole thing is a spectrum. Someone can pass, as it's not always that hard to get confused for a couple of seconds with the other sex by a distracted person. It won't happen to that guy the football captain desperatly tried to recruit because he is naturally huge, but it can happen to his friend. All you need is, for exemple, to be a skinny soft-skinned dude with somewhat decent long hair or a tall, short-haired woman wearing a big coat and no jewelry. A lot of people are just not paying attention. And if you are committed and lucky you can extend that second of confusion to hours with hormones, voice training, proper clothing, and cultivating your facial hair (or lack of)... it does change things tho it's really depends on the person, some have already some androgyny in their bone structure, some absolutely don't. Even if there's only two sexes, and we are sexually dimorphic, we are not as sexually dimorphic as many other apes, and a lot of aspects kind of trickles down to both gender...

Anybody who think they clocked 100% of the troons they have been in the presence of is the sheltered one, especially since i gather from some comments on subjects like plastic surgery that a lot of people have some level of face-blindness or at least are really not visually-oriented. You maybe didn't went to the beach with a troon and didn't notice, but you could ride the bus with troons and not notice. And i am not talking just about the early transitioners who started blockers at 12 and hormones at 16. Obviously not all trans are like the ones who are posted here.

It's actually a bit of a shame that the subject is so misunderstood, because it is fascinating.
Being in the presence of one mostly passing trans persons, is actually a really curious experience, as your perception of the person flickers like a light-bulb. Some aspects you were not aware of immediately can suddenly jump at you, and then fade again... for example they were firmly into one gender category, then you noticed the hands, or their voice drop or crack, and suddenly you see them as the other category... but then you stop watching the hands, they try a little harder on the voice, and it gets better.
And it involves a lot of dumb luck because some have a decent chance of passing steadily and for others it's gonna be an uphill battle.
I actually understand to some extend why there's so much paranoia over minor social interactions in the community because i think they are aware of how fragile it can be. But in short, those trans people are the real non-binary ones, they have experience from both side and from neither.

Edit: I knew That comment would be controversial but still, a great litmus test

The idea that someone passes because you aren't paying attention to them is an odd one. If I didn't notice a pile of dog shit before I stepped in it doesn't mean dog turds pass for grass.

And redirect back to the original audience for her childrens‘ books; children. I can believe that.
The my little pony creators should take a page from their book.

Why would you ask a tranny to host a holiday or celebration of any kind? That's just asking for trouble.

That is such low effort femme. A plain dress with puffiesh sleeves and that's it.

A woman who was "going femme" would be wearing a necklace with a pendant at least, maybe earrings and bracelets. They'd do their makeup a bit more dramatic today ; it's Christmas bring out the gold eyeliner you can't use the rest of the year. Their nails might be done, probably something sparkling or at least Christmas colored.

Even if they didn’t do makeup and nails they'd do something with their hair. Curls and a headband, curls and pin it back, pull it up in a twist, something.

The dress itself is more of a "wear to work" dress.

I'm about as low effort a woman as they come for the most part, can't do makeup or hair to save my life, but even I put in more effort for special occasions!

I feel like I'm getting mati here, so I'll take my puzzles or top hats, but this is just so perfectly apt for a Troon.

It cracks me up when troons convince themselves that fictional characters are gay or trans with absolutely zero evidence. They do the same thing with historical figures though, so I guess it's not surprising.

Seriously lol. You pass very often, like, upward of 95% of the time, or you fucking don't. "Passing is a spectrum, if it's dark out and people are distracted and I have a mask on and I don't speak and" etc. is some serious cope. The people who think they pass "most of the time" or under very specific circumstances- that isn't what "passing" means lol, and they're simply surrounded by overly polite/non-confrontational people and everybody knows it
