When most people personalize avatars what they're really doing is adding textures and other items (swords, guns, or effects) to a base avatar. The wickerbeast is still a semi-popular base to build from so there's quite a few publicly available ones with various textures out there. I'm also pretty sure Sappho's personal texture was a semi-custom one that you could buy as a psd from an artist, but that's only because I've seen a few with a similar pattern but a different coloration.

When someone gets their avatars "ripped" in vrchat it's done by using a mod to download that particular avatar's unity package from the vrchat servers, the package contains everything attached to that avatar. A few people did this to Sappho's avatar and made a public copy using his textures and made it play "white girls fuck dogs" on a loop. It was pretty funny while it was up but it was removed about a week later, I'm sure someone still has those files out there.

Most autism I've seen was when the Wickerbeast species was first coming into fame people were (I think?) complaining that the species was ripping off American Indian culture. This has since seemingly died off immensely as soon as the popular model everyone associates with VRChat came into fame. Unfortunately I do not got too much knowledge of the species outside of this as, like I said, the species was rather obscure until the model had released.

Name tape is usually on the right breast. That looks more like it's at the center, which (at least in the Army) is where your rank goes. Rank can also be used as identifiable information so that's why it was likely censored. Val taking off their name tape before taking a photo though was at least somewhat intelligent.

May not be useful now but the car Val is sitting in looks like the interior of a Hyundai Accent 2014

Mine was close, but this one seems to be a perfect match. The blaze is a common station, but the missoula bit is interesting. Do we have any indicator when this image was posted? Assuming that photo was there for a reason, it could narrow down what event they were servicing.

Also, if those fatigues are sapphos, he's definately from the us, he's got the inverted flag patch above the other one it looks like.
