It’s interesting just how rapidly his mask-off NPD behavior has ramped up since the transition. Then again, it is a pattern: people who were sort of cunts but kept it in check due to societal restraints troon out, and then spiral into full-on narcissism as they realize they can get away with anything. Most trannies pushing for reform are doing it because they genuinely think it will make their lives better (note: not that this makes the reform harmless). The primary basis of his argument is that the process being used to determine if someone has gender dysphoria results in extensive delays to the process of transitioning, which in turn can lead to dysphoric trans people doing a flip, and therefore the NHS should just transition anyone who asks for it in order to save those dysphoric people's lives. Or in other words, the harm caused by gate keeping procedures outweighs the harm caused by letting non-dysphoric trans people transition for free.

You probably could do a cost benefit analysis on that basis - if you removed all gender identity clinic requirements and just prescribed hormones and gave surgery to anyone who wanted it, would it be cheaper for the NHS? Would the services run more efficiently?

This of course overlooks the increasing number of detrans people, some of whom are suing the Tavistock clinic for not gatekeeping enough and just whacking them on puberty blockers and cross sex hormones after a couple of appointments. And it's further undermined by Ollie insisting the NHS performing cosmetic surgery is actually a really good thing, rather than an accidental consequence of trying to protect dysphoric trans people. (And also wanting various additional procedures that the NHS doesn't currently offer, because people much smarter than Ollie did evidence-based practice analysis and found the benefits of e.g. FFS to a patient are outweighed by the risks and also cost to the public purse)

During the pandemic there was a culture fund set up to help keep charities like this afloat so they could survive until things opened up again. Of course a charity like this is going to take money from a government fund. They seem to have used some of this money on a propaganda campaign centred around PT which does seem way out of their remit. Their board of trustees should be held accountable for how they have spent this money and people should just not donate to them.

Maybe there is a prexisting link between Olly and people on the board/media team then that would be an actual scandal. I think that many people like Olly arguing for this are aware that there is a contradiction, and that what they are asking for (treatment with no dysphoria) does not make sense. But they simply don’t care. They have been able to get away with wildly contradictory arguments for years just by calling anyone who disagrees a Nazi, and ruining the lives of anyone who doesn’t shut up after that.

Why shouldn’t they just keep pushing whatever random arguments make them feel best and give them the most freebies and special treatment? Yelling really loud and threatening people has gotten them what they want so far.

I cant submit a FOI request because the royal institute is a charity. Its misuse of a charities funds NOT state sponsored propaganda. They are a huge charity with 4.8mil outgoing last year - olly got a slice of that.

A breakdown of the charities spending will be publicly available in their year end report. Id love there to actually be something here but there isn't right now.
