Her hormones are already fucked due to being a landwhale so it's going to be interesting to see what effect the synthetic T will have I'm sure they certainly won't have the effects she wants.
If she goes through her insurance, will she even be approved for it by a medical professional? That seems like medical malpractice waiting to happen.

Troon docs seem to be made of Teflon these days. It's that unspoken troon community rule that nobody ever complains about troon medical care. That's why you get frankendicks literally dying while still attached and the troons get furious not at the doctor, but at the trans "man" who had the gall to complain about it.

If you ever dreamed of being the next Mengele and torturing people with horrible, pointless medical experimentation -- there has never been a better time to pursue that dream. Just become a doctor who provides gender-affirming care. You could kill troons this way and nobody will even whisper a complaint about it.

They shouldn't give her T, but they will because the threat of being called transphobic AND fatphobic will be too intimidating. Honestly, I consider this a suicide attempt by J. But, it will be portrayed as "life-saving" because of her "dysphoria". Never mind that the only dysphoria she really has about her body is because of all that fat she's hauling around.

T would nuke Juliana’s already heavily compromised heart
Yes, but she's only worried about its effect on her mood, lol. How absurd.

And here's a story where a twenty-something, normal-weight FtM experienced multiple cardiac arrests and then "his" doctors blamed aspirin use for the serious heart problems; it sounds like a weird CYA tactic to me, but the story is rather unclear and I'm certainly not a medical professional:

Godspeed, Juliana.

She may have to drive a bit but she'll be able to find someone who will give it to her no questions asked. Tranny healthcare is like that nowadays. Worst case scenario she'll have to drive to Overland Park or Kansas City, both of which have Planned Parenthoods, which does informed consent.

Godspeed, Juliana.
Four times higher risk holy crap!! Why isn't this publicised more?!

Also I wonder if C bullied her in to this so C can get ass pats for being such a brave supportive partner. Meanwhile J has incredibly girly mannerisms and has not spoken about her experiences of dysphoria, to my knowledge. Any kiwis here able to correct me if she has?
But yeah by all means, I'm sure you're just a man in the wrong body J.

There was some research I found but it involved post-menopause women using testosterone due to hormonal issues. Interesting thing is it made them LOSE weight.
I suppose what I mean is that if there is enough data of increased cardiac risk specifically among trans cohort, this fact should be included in reporting of use of hormones for trans people (news reports etc). It's incredibly serious.

Sadly they are a "protected population" in regards to research so only their in-group gets the approval to do research.

Brilliant. How 'pro science' of them.
Seriously something has got to give, among the research community. What hell to be associated with the field at the moment if you engage with research in any capacity.
So glad my field is nowhere near such chicanery/trans topics
