Skimming her trending on twitter seems like as far as I can tell there is some real woman I guess traditionally feminists (or least those that are still around) trying to defend her,, but seems like she is getting way more hate, especially from troons and black activist. The fact that we're living in a timeline where Moviebob is less mental fragile than Nostalgia Chick is astounding to me.

I too, have watched Lindsay's videos, and while I didn't always agree with her takes, some of them were very interesting and pulled in history into the analysis. I like literary criticism that focuses on actually analyzing works of art instead of giving emotional opinions on them, and she was pretty good on that many times.

But it always fucking ends like this. You can't fucking win with these people, and the only right move is never to court them in the first place. And the stupid part about it all is that it's always about fucking children's media. It's always about takes on books and stories and TV Shows. Or it's about political donations in a system with two parties, where if you're not one or the other. There is no connection to material reality, except in those cases where it's a bunch of psycho zoomers beating up at sixty-year-old woman for daring to be at a public event to discuss something. But even then, it's about cancelling someone for having someone else on a YouTube video. Lindsay absolutely deserves to suffer this after engaging with it sincerely like she did.

The impotence of the whole woke twittersphere is fucking staggering.
