It's not surprising to me at all because we host a wide variety of people with mental illnesses who come on the 'Farms to essentially trollshield on the people from their interest sphere. The Tumblr forum is just continuing that proud tradition. And it'd be fine if these people would keep their life stories out of the lolcow discussions when they aren't relevant.
You want to use this website as a hugbox to validate yourself as being better than the lolcows we discuss? Fine,as long as you take it to Off-Topic.

I think one of the cringiest threads is https://kiwifarms.net/threads/encou...istas-offline-or-in-unusual-communities.7989/ it's like our version of "I caught a shitlord this big". Many of the posts are unverifiable and frankly unbelievable. Many end up with the person posting it as the "hero" in the story which I would say is troll shielding. Also it's not funny and I'd say it's not trying to be funny.

It's funny how much of an autism-attractant this forum is considering the purpose of it is pretty much to laugh at autism.
I guess it's kind of a similar effect to catnip/silvervine, it just excites the senses of the severely damaged individual causing us all to roll and twitch all over the place.
