Fuck's sake all this retardation over an animated film aimed at children. As easy as it is to look on in bemusement at these twatter clowns and lament the state of online discourse it's worth remerbering that most of these people are chronic internet addicts that are unable to let go of childrens media and are more than likely deeply unhappy with their lives, something that is also very unlikely to change. People so desperate to cling to youth that they coined the word 'adulting' to describe basic things that most people accept as a normal part of life and feel a sense of accomplishment in doing.

I find the "This is all stuff that Boomers did and that's toxic" to be funny. She's not criticizing the terrible "fuck you I've got my own" attitude that a lot of boomers have, it's not the terrible financial advice that presupposes an economy that no longer exists. None of that, it's the "accept it, brush yourself off, and move on" advice. While a lot of the advice boomers give is horrendously out of touch, having an attitude of anti-fragility (where every setback makes you stronger) is one thing I really respect from the older generation.

But of course you can't play the victim and be anti-fragile. If you're anti-fragile, eventually your hardships will make you so strong that you are no longer a victim. Lindsay needs to be the victim because the community she's fostered is full of people who hold victims in the highest regard. Even to her last breath she has to be the victim of something.

Well, I'm glad that the bitch is finally away, but as some people already mentioned it wouldn't be surprising if her narcissism pushed her back into making dumb video essays.
I don't even have the slightest sympthay for her. A goof like Peter Coffin said a lot of dumb shit, but at least he was able to see after 2020 that wokeness is just a fucking shit shot and not a real movement with genuine concerns. What does Lindsay do? Of course, she can't admit that the ideology she followed is stupid, a cult and has extrem fascist tendencies, nope you have to throw the ominous "cis-het white man" under the bus again.

What Lindsay (and a lot of white women) haven't realized in 2021 is that the whole white man thing is basically over. White woman get now as much shit as white man do, if now not even more. The stereotype of the tone-deaf scolding white Karen is not even in Hulu movies, whereas white men are mostly cast as servants now. It's the same thing for being gay. There are still idiots who think that being a gay man will protect them from being attacked by the woke mob, but at least since Milo the archetype of the "problematic white gay man" is enough to make you a target as well. I know it's hard to admit that you were wrong, but that's actually the moment for it. Saying things like "BLM was a genuine grassroots movement, but destroyed by white feminists" is even dumber than just believing in BLM alltogether.

So good riddance, Lindsay. You deserve any shit you get, because you were one of the earliest better known internet figures who helped to create the monster that destroyed you know. Just 10 years ago your innocent comment about Asians wouldn't have even caused the slightest attention, but I know that anything before 2013 is very bad and reactionary. Be assured that you won't be the only one, this nihilistic fascist movement we call jokingly "wokeness" will call for many more victims, not just you.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

All Frankenstein stories end with The Monster turning on its creator. Lindsay was one of the ones that helped foster and cultivate this insanity, and demonized the naysayers.

She didn't listen and now it's bit her in the ass. Oopsie daisies.

Also, how thin skinned do you have to be to nuke your YouTube career because of a bad response to a tweet?

I guess it depends on how you see it, it obviously wasn't the Raya tweet all by itself, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. She's been crying on twitter about stress and substance abuse for a long, long time before all this.
