100k is a lot if you get it all at once, but spread over a year it's not all that impressive. Redditors think this guy has 100k in his bank account at any one time. An actual adult with bills and a home and a decent car and insurance would find that 100k gets eaten away pretty fast.

I remember when first I moved out and went to a big city, I felt like Billy big bollocks with my savings account with 10,000 odd and a steady income. After a month or two of rent and bills and groceries and bus passes I found out that life is expensive. The fact that redditors are asking a guy who makes 100k for money just implies to me that they don't live on their own/provide for themselves in a sustainable manner.

This sounds so ridiculous to me coming from germany, 100k/year are a goddamn lot here.

Its enough for a friend of mine as an income for a family of five, three cars and multiple vacations over the year. And he still saves up about 1.5k a month.
Aside from health insurance being cheaper which is around 800€ for his family, I dont even know why living in america is so expensive, doesnt america have the reputation of being super cheap?

It's amazing how two similar experiences can result in the same shit.

This guy looks, rightly, that Travellers don't do half the shit Pakis or blacks do, yet get the arse end of the deal with the press outright stalking families who set up camp on their own properties.

Whereas he has taken the blue pill and assumes that kikes, niggers and Pakis are, wrongfully, disliked despite their behaviour, I have taken the exact opposite point of view and believe that the bulk of anti-gypsy rhetoric is the result of outright demonisation by the press.

The irony is, the poor fucker is trying to complain to parasitic radicals about something which is genuinely a problem - to people who genuinely hate him more than the average person does. Not only is he an Irish Traveller and ought not to sympathise too strongly with Roma - he is white and poor, the two things which the average leftist hates more than anything else.

Given the opportunity to hate on somebody in a less fortunate position than themselves, the average Leftist will do so happily - the guy has legit reasons to complain, since ironically, England is less hostile to it's own citizens than the Republic - which will cheerfully invite thousands of Nigerians in while demonising it's own indigenous minorities.

100k is enough to live comfortably without many problems buy it doesn't mean that money is just no longer somehting to think about. My point was that redditors were treatign the guy like he was Mister Moneybags when he's just a middle-upper middle class guy with a decent job who can probably afford a home of his own. That's not extraordinary (or, in a perfect world, it shouldn't be).

It's bizarre because while therapists in most places do have a mandatory reporting obligation it's only if they feel as though there is a possibility of a child being put in danger.
