Noam Blum is why you should always be mindful before you go shooting your mouth off. There are thousands of people out there that will dig and archive EVERYTHING regardless of how innocuous it may appear. If more people like him regularly put fucks like Lindsay in their place, social media might be a little less putrid.

Oh, I seriously doubt that. He probably has the goods on a lot of contributors seeing as how he was single-handedly carrying TGWTG for awhile and collaborated with damn near all the popular ones. Shit, there is even a rumor that Mr. Metokur started about how Spoony may have been the father of Lindsay's aborted baby. Can you imagine if he spilled and confirmed that to be the truth?? Holy fuck, everyone would lose their collective minds. Besides all that, people get a hard-on for nostalgia and lament when videos from TGWTG were fun and interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if older fans came out of the woodwork just to hear more stories about any of their fallen idols.

That letter is unhinged. Nothing was stopping her from continuing. Nobody cared long-term about the Raya tweet beyond the most insufferable of the Twitter cult. From what I can see her views and subscriber count were barely affected, unlike most youtubers who get ~cancelled~. I’m reminded a bit of what happened when Laci Green’s audience got mad that she was dating Chris Raygun and no longer hated everyone vaguely on the other side, but Laci handled it a lot better and kept doing her thing except as a moderate, whereas Lindsay made a two hour film begging people to still please like her.

She has a good point about “mobbing” but she participated in making such behaviour acceptable online… too late, boo hoo, good riddance.

Wonder how her publisher is taking it.

I mean, she just released her second book, shouldn't she be talking about it, doing streams about it, tweeting about book signs, re-tweets fan arts or positive comments about it, you know, engaging about the fucking thing?

Isn't that what got her the book deal in the first place, the fact that she had a on-line presence, and now she just went and said "bye" and how is the publisher who put money behind her supposed to take it?

I mean, Lindsay gotta know she is gonna be persona non grata in the publishing world. I mean, yeah, out good buddy @Boston Brand gave us all the details on how her second book tanked... but you know, she could work it out, word of mouth still happens, and who knows, maybe she could get another deal, have a better thought out plot, and with experience, have another go with a better book.

Feels like it is useless to say that she is overreacting throwing babies and bathwaters alike, and it is pretty obvious that she ain't well, and no, I don't have sympathy or anything, this mess was of her making, and she is going to be fine for a while, and fuck, she can come back in 6 months and do another video about a musical and some shit, and I believe thing will go back to "normal".

On youtube that is, with this move I think she just killed her book career. Maybe it was dead before with poor sales, but now she went off and probably pissed off a bunch of people who depended on her online presence to sell her fucking books. Fuckl, if I was her publisher, I wouldn't publish the last book either, just pay the fine and let her have the manuscript, fuck her.

Nice one Lindsay, you just managed to piss everybody off, while making more money for yourself... now go shit blood some more, atta girl.

She "retired" that character after leaving TGWTG and I say that with quote marks because all she did was do a deeper dive into her hollow head rebranding it as something else, but is actually completely the same.
