The lengths people are going to keep their "liberal """friends""" " sure is getting ridiculous.
This very extreme case aside, I do keep seeing more rational-minded people talking about things their "liberal friends" do and say to them and it is baffling to me why they are still friends with them. I feel like a lot of people have this idea they shouldn't leave friends because of ideological differences but there's a certain point you need to protect your own dignity and safety, for Christ's sake.
Centrists/conservatives/non-liberals really need to start growing balls about anything or they're going to end up in camps saying "but can you imagine if the roles were reversed!"

It's because those people have all grown up on liberal media and have consequently been indoctrinated into believing their liberal "friends" are good people.

They are not good, and it is questionable how many qualify as people.

Well, got back from another delightful outing with my friend, who is well aware of my vax resistance. He was salivating over the possibility that I could and should be banned from domestic air travel forever. I mean, I already don't have a real id and since my passport has expired, no way of getting one. Jokes on him I am already about to be banned from air travel.

It still surprises me a bit how people who pride themselves on being the most accepting latched onto the first opportunity to discriminate they got that would be accepted/ in fact admired by their faction. In the end, they have the same dark stain on their souls they criticized others about for so long. Pity they couldn't recognize it as the same flaw and reign in their behavior as they so often demanded of others.

IMO he is not worth keeping as a friend. A real friend would accept you for who you are, the fact he desires you to have your rights traken away is major red-flag to me. The MSM needs to hang for all the fear/hatred they have sown.

4K cases in Melbourne and 11k in Sydney almost all Omicron. This is a doubling over a single day. Slight up tick in hospitalisation but this will be at least in part due to incidental cases or terrified Covidians wasting staff time in ED because they’re convinced that their runny nose is the literal airborne AIDS.

From what the politicians are announcing we’ll soon be told that the coof is the flu and to just get on with it. Whether that means them dropping the mandates and passports I’m not sure but they’re already massively scaling back testing requirements.

All good news and reality is hitting the Covid cultists in the face. ZOMG! So many positive cases why aren’t we in lockdown? Not happening.

Update: slight fever returned hours after I posted, paracetamol and ibuprofen nuked it again and I got a good night's sleep.
Coincidentally I had a doctor's appointment the morning after, ended up chatting about the coof and she conceded that I probably got the Wuhan strain before testing was available but asked me to reconsider taking the shot because muh Omicron.
I did another home test and... you guys can guess what it said.

The gist of original antigenic sin is that if you take a shot for a strain of a disease that mutates fast enough, you can easily be exposed to a new strain where the antibodies you generated won't be effective. The issue is that your immune system is already primed and might not recognize the new strain, so it starts pumping out the old antibodies.
This has happened with Dengvaxia in the Philippines, and it's a genuine concern with HIV and one of the reasons we still don't have a vaccine for it. There's essentially a major ethical issue with getting trials for HIV vaccines approved due to the potential that people who participate in the trial may suffer greater harm if infected with HIV for real.
There are anecdotal instances of people seemingly getting their white blood cell count nuked after the second dose but this is probably not widespread or we'd be seeing tons of deaths across all ages.

We are seeing more deaths now then last year, the vaxx are doing what TPTB want.

On the news just now, the government announced free PCR testing nationwide, and they FINALLY SAID THE UNMENTIONABLE OUT LOUD—that the coronavirus appears to be no more dangerous than the flu. People are not getting tested (5000 a day in a city of 14 million) and no one is dying. The vaccination place near where I work is empty. The tv presentation got complex, but Mrs. Pete says the purpose of the free PCR tests are to get numbers on who is actually infected to “prove’ that it is just the flu.

I’m gonna back all this shit up with articles as soon as I can get them. I can confirm the free testing personally, because I can understand those words and read those moon runes. The numbers are easily confirmable. The only thing I cannot personally confirm at this time is the reasoning for the free tests, but Mrs. Pete is an interpreter and this is her thing.

Can also confirm that free PCR tests and antigen tests are being offered and as of 25/12, access to these tests has been expanded to include those without symptoms. People are rushing for tests so there have been some availability shortages and so testing centres are implementing online appointment booking for better crowd management. Those who are eligible for free testing:
