I don't think this was super recent. But if it's not obvious already, she's pivoting into influencer content. With her "lol random" videos about nothing. It's painfully obvious she's copying the Safiya Nygaard template. Which also explains the odd choice to do makeup vids.

I took a look at Allison's social blade. On January 8th of this year she had 66,300 subs. She is ending the year with around 69,400. That's a little over 3k subs. In 1 year. For a channel that is still in the growth phase like hers that is absolutely pitiful. Phelan didn't fare much better at 5k.

Nah those were the eyes of a woman with unrequitted sexual urges. She wanted Brad, but Brad didn't want her.

People don't just "get chance after chance." Men deal with bullshit on the internet and in life too. Men deal with having strangers tearing apart your hard work while you try to make a name for yourself in creative work. "Chance after chance" comes from letting it roll off your back and persevering. Withdrawing for a pity party doesn't bring those chances. And I don't believe that women have a harder time than men on the internet. When people are big meanies it sucks, but the solution is to grow stronger, get some thicker skin and not whine. We can't control society such that bullying disappears; we can only control ourselves and our choices. Women’s greatest strength is the illusion of weakness.

Also how does a second book deal after a tepid first not count as getting "chance after chance." How does Lindsay being a media darling with an immensely popular channel not count as "chance after chance." And she has a master's degree. How many of her youtube peers can say that. Anyone in show business knows you get shat on from time to time. I just wish she would realize what she does have and be content, because tons of men and women would be grateful for the heights she just fell from, that she's now throwing away. Might help her drinking too.

Logged in here for the first time in months just to say that I saw Phelous (poorly) defending his fair maiden in several Twitter threads so of course I clicked on them - and found out that I’ve been blocked by Allison on Twitter. I’ve never interacted with her, or Phelous, or anyone from the old TGWTG gang for that matter, I barely use Twitter at all. I did however commit the crime of following Brad Jones years ago when I watched his content regularly, and I never bothered to unfollow him, so the only reasonable explanation here is that Lupa scans through his follower list and blocks everyone on it. Dunno if that’s happened to anyone in this thread before, I’m not reading it all to find out.

So, Allison, since I know you’re the kind of loser who checks your own thread on a regular basis so you have something to feel victimised about: maybe grow a thicker skin and stop preaching about “listening to women’s voices” when you silence them yourself for no reason lol.
Also I always skipped your part in any TGWTG collab.
