That's normie-tier because most people finish puberty by 16.I think around 16 is the right area, considering that's when most people start. There's a reason it's legal pretty much everywhere.
If you want to have fun, try arguing for 12 which was the original age of consent. I think 12-13 is really hard to justify sexually because most people aren't fully grown but people also use AoC as a proxy for adulthood and when it's okay to even have a nonsexual relationship with a person so in these contexts 12-13 makes sense because that's when it's obvious kids are experiencing puberty and they need to be given adult responsibilities so they learn to be adults. I can see why old religions had the coming of age ritual around 12.
If you're arguing for 16, you'll probably get these 3 common responses:
1. It's the law which is an appeal to authority.
2. it's when people finish high school. This is circular reasoning as the entire point of raising AoC to 18 in the first place by feminists was them wanting to stop women from entering relationships with men and getting married so they could be put on the education->employment aka female liberation pipeline.
3. Power imbalance which is feminist theory and wrong since since younger women have a high SMV than men so they options and thus have more power in a relationship.
Lastly "The brain keeps growing till age 25." Okay so why not raise AoC to 25? These people don't have good arguments for AoC. They're just grasping at straws to justify the current social norm and virtue signal their allegiance to the current paradigm.
Have fun.
