Change clearly scares him. Hes spinning the tires getting older feeling like everyone is moving on and hes still sitting on his hands.

Sure job market is hard for unskilled labor kent couldn't muster a physical job either. Makes his chances even worse. These are the strikes before he deals with his net antics personality or over all bad 'tude.

I think his refusal to address short comings is part of the enjoyment of him to me.

Id bet he would look down on a lot of blue collar jobs.

I think so too, but I hope not for his sake since his intellectual disabilities could severely limit what type of jobs he can get, ignoring the fact if he has autism. I cannot picture Kent doing well at any sort of technique job that requires extensive training and reading from technique manuals, due to his poor reading skills and ADD. That a limits a lot of non-intensive, labor jobs. One of the jobs that I might of recommended was electrician but you need to pass courses and take tests to get certificated. Perhaps a trade where you learn most of your skills on the job, would be better, like being a carpentry or welding.

For an office job, he'll probably do alright for data entry. Outside of that I'm not so sure.

TESTIFY! Kent can't do most blue collar jobs cause he's too small, he can't do retail or customer service jobs effectively because his social skills are way lacking right now (probably the reason he didn't get hired for that job working at Lids like he desired). Kent really needs to get his social skills together so he can get a customer service job or something without much hard manual labor. Honestly, if he really wanted to get his act together, he ought to go back to college, get that BA, and then a MA/MS in a really hot field. If he has the skills, people will overlook his social oddities and just call him eccentric if he can do the job. Of course, all of this hinges on him having a clue, finding ways around his ADD, getting help with reading, and intelligence so...

He can't do blue collar because he's to small? Tell that to the Mexicans (although they practice nepotism and don't want "pinche mayates" out there with them; that's the real hurdle other than mindset).

Ok, he can't do it because he's too small and doesn't want to hustle to work. Is that better? A lot of Latinos work their asses off at hard labor for very low wages but do you see Kent doing that?

Not unless desperation sets in. Custodial isn't always a bad deal for someone in their early twenties with few skills though. He could sign up and clean at night with a small team at local schools.

He already failed out of college once. I'm pretty sure he dropped out of that summer course that he took this year too, so I'm sure college is not a great option for him anymore.

Super power level here forgive me. Those guys who do lawn care are tiny but beasts. When I was in grad school I did that in summers to pay bills. Im not huge but these people where kent sized and I'd see them picking up 200lb mowers all day.

Kent doesn't have dedication to lift more than randomly. You can be strong as an oxen and small.
data entry is probably his best bet in a trade I don't see him advancing much and he'd die as a lumber hauler for life under a carpenter its a brutal job.

Place like Costco would be good he could cashier the math is done for you and lowest wage they pay is 11.50/hr and partial benefits

Hes a small dude perhaps prewire monkey for a theatre company.

Kent also has no real reason to work aside more hat funds. So he's got no real reason to get a job let alone advance in one. Sad truth even if he got a job hes living free so won't want to advance he's got an extra stack for new hats.
