That was my initial reaction too, but according to the OP, Chris already won the main prize, and thus does not appear on the open ballots. There's no Chris vote, as it's obvious that Chris is Lolcow of the Year.

Man, this year had a lot of greats. Real watershed moments too. But I hafta say the one thing out of all of it that made me laugh the absolute hardest was when I watched Buck Breaking for the first time. It had me doubled over and unable to breathe I was laughing so goddamn hard. Full on beet-red with tears streaming down my face painful laughter. I kept having to pause it and take little breaks to compose myself so I could keep watching. It took me like three hours to get through it. I love it so fucking much.

Anyways, I just though I would share.

I would say its a tie for lolcow of the year between Chris and Lowtax.

Or maybe just Chris, he reached a zenith that will be hard for others to top. After years of just the same old bullshit he jumped straight to national news and was trending worldwide.

Relatively little people outside SA, 4chan, a handful of reddit subs and the farms cared about Lowtax's passing, it was only a big deal within these communities. More people cared about byuu albeit only to virtue signal about his fake suicide.
