Since the current focus is on porn and porn games I have a little tale to contribute about an artist named Wanaca and her horrific exploitation by either sekai project or winged studios, details are fuzzy.

There is/was a trend of soft porn VNs on steam all with the name variations of 'sakura <random word or words>' that became somewhat popular on steam. They all shared the exact same artstyle but the thing is that they were being released rapidfire, like back to back to back. Turns out it was all done by some asian artist who got trapped in an incredibly predatory contract to the point where she couldn't say a damn word.

Some guy made a youtube documentary about her exploited condition and even managed to reach out to her where she briefly interacted with him before becoming afraid and cutting communication. The video ends on a sad note encouraging Wanaca to reach out and contact them or anyone as they don't have to be afraid. Unfortunately at some point the video was either voluntarily taken down or was forcibly removed and I haven't heard or seen a thing since.

No one knows her condition, if she's still trapped making those games, if she got released from the contract or if she's even dead. Damn shame, that.

Talking about porn games, the only one I played for more than 5 minutes is Aurelia. It has some pretty good pixel art and the writing is decent enough for a porn game.

Also, while reading again part of the thread i remembered another VN. This being one that i've heard quite a lot of bad things about. It's made by some german dudes and it's straight out pedo shit. I don't remember the title it had in german, but the rough translation was something like Bernd and the mistery of Underage Creek or something like that.

I remember seeing these. They kept popping on the Steam Store from time to time and then i checked and i saw that there were around 20 or so that were released in the span of nearly 2 months. Stuff like Sakura Clicker, Sakura Succubus, Sakura Harem... At the time i thought of them being quick cash grabs like many other devs do and release half assed crap into the Steam Store for a few bucks.

But damn, the whole story is pretty fucking insane. I really hope that Wanaca is alive and well, but the whole stream of Sakura games stopped quite a while ago.

But holy fuck, again with the "drawing children getting fucked based on real life children". That is so fucked up. But it was bound to happen when you make fucked up shit.

And on the subject of pixel art games, it's been quite some time since LibraHeart released Succubus Hunter and Sword of Succubus. They are essentially porn Castlevania and porn The Legend of Zelda. I also got the name of the porn Metroid game. It was Alien Quest Eve.

but i'm pretty sure that it was never a commercial game, just a meme project intended to be shared on shady internet sites for free, so i can't imagine how a government would even try to ban it, except maybe by classifying it as CP and thus criminalizing its posession and distribution. but i never heard about anything like that happening either, and i don't think german law treats loli like real cp so i don't think it would work

I get my info on porn games from the games forum on this site or catparty articles, but there definitely was something about germany and public figures. that really upset some people in power.

Yeah, i saw some photos of some characters in the game. One of them was Jozef Fritzl (they called him Jozef Ritzl), and Til Schweiger (famous german actor called in game Til Geiger). There might be some other important people in the game so who the fuck knows.

That's true. Unless it's some old stuff that is already settled like the stuff with Breeding Season, most will come from either patreon pledges or people that actively play or follow the scene.

That's true. Unless it's some old stuff that is already settled like the stuff with Breeding Season, most will come from either patreon pledges or people that actively play or follow the scene.

Not to mention that if they have a Discord, chances are you need to give them a pledge to actually join. Some do, like the aforementioned Project Helius, while others don't, like Subverse (which apparently has some shady stuff going on with their Kickstarter money) (A)
