Warren's just not popular enough and too easy to attack. Buttigieg's too moderate. Once you get through all them, I'm pretty sure the only viable candidate the progs have left is AOC.

Would AOC win the primary? No; there are too many vested interests in the DNC for them to let a literal socialist win. Would she handle losing in the way Bernie did - that is, would she let the DNC roll over her and agree to set up a "unity task force" that has absolutely no impact on policy? I don't think so. If AOC does run and fails, I have a feeling the results'll be pretty interesting.

DeSantis has a big hurdle were he to run in 24 in that I'm pretty sure he's on record repeatedly saying he wouldn't so that he could finish his run as governor.
Were he in charge a small state without much electoral college pull reneging on that might not be a big deal, but a lot of the base in Florida that he would need to make sure the state stays red would probably be very not cool with him dipping early, regardless of if Trump was running.
My magic 8ball says DeSantis gets groomed as Trump's heir for 28.
